Fozzy Fozborne
Does anyone know of a way to backup MS office? My brother (don't ask me how) lost all his discs for his computer and it's time to reformat (it's just dreadfully slow, impossible to remove spyware, choppy video). We really need a way to backup the office files... is there a way?

We really need a way to backup the office files... is there a way? Just use Magical Jelly Bean KeyFinder to get the office key. Then find a nice DDL site and download an Office ISO. Its completely legal if you use your original #'s.
Fozzy Fozborne
Thanks, I got my numbers and I made a backup of the Office folder on my computer and I just copied it to the hard drive. Now it works like it should.
Mr. Hym.
Internet Explorer takes forever to start up, but Firefox loads automatically, does anyone know why? The only plugin I have installed is Foxytune. Also, whenever I change around the toolbars in IE7, they change back to the way they were when I reopen the browser. Does anyone know how to fix this? This is why I stick with Firefox.

That includes a flash drive that'll allow you to move saved data to your PC. Also, make sure you buy the "evo" edition I linked you to, the normal AR Max comes with a normal PS2 memory card. Good luck.

Head on over there (it's on the column at the side) and browse around, if you can't find what your looking for then ask in the Vehicles section
andibomb
Ok, here's the problem. I have 3 possible monitors in my room. Two normal LCD monitors and a HDTV which I'd like to use for watching movies and such. I'd like to be able to set it up so that one of my LCD screens is always my primary monitor (easy enough) but then I'd like to be able to switch the secondary between the other two without having to keep messing around with cables. I guess what I'm looking for is a small adapter (vga or dvi, doesn't matter) or switch plugged into my second graphics card port which allows two monitor inputs and the interchange between them via the use of a button or switch. Has anyone heard of such a thing? I've tried searching but haven't found anything.

GT-1
My mates DVD drive seems to be having a few problems. It will run all CDs without problem, it will also run commercial DVD's without problem (i.e games/DVD movies) but it won't run burnt DVD's whether +/-/RW. The DVD player is capable of running them, as he assures me they have been ran before. He can write to blank DVD's but not play them after. When he puts a copied dvd in the drive instead of of it saying DVD-RAM Drive (E:) it reverts to CD-Drive (E:) like its a CD drive instead of a DVD drive. I've tried to update his firmware (from Sony & with binFlash) which fails on flashing, and also install the standard ones from his windows disc which don't fix the issue. Just seems odd it will read/write/execute everything, it just won't accept copied DVD's. Any ideas? I've come to the conclusion its had its day. If you need the model, i'll have to ask him later, though its not a known issue with that model.

On card #1 connect your monitor 1 and 2 On card #2 connect monitor 3, hell you should be able to have monitor 4 on there as well if you wanted @Tornado Rex A KVM is for switching multi PCs between 1 monitor, 1 keyboard and 1 mouse I've seen a select few that will support dual monitors, but it's still between multi PCs to the 2 monitors
Fozzy Fozborne
Wolf, you misunderstood he meant he has to DVI ports on graphics card, not two physical cards. How do you want the HDTV connected, by DVI or by S-video? If it's DVI, Here is a device that will send signal to both your second monitor and your TV. I think that's what you want. If you want to connect the TV using S video, and the second monitor on DVI, I don't think you can. Hope that helped.

andibomb
Cheers Foz, thats almost exactly what I wanted. I did want a switch, but it'd probably be less hassle without it, so thanks for that. Would that cable result in any signal loss at all? Or does the fact its digital mean that it'll be lossless? If the signal will be the same quality on both outputs then thats absolutely perfect.
Fozzy Fozborne
I wouldn't think so, my guess that the loss of quality would be about the same as a 5 foot DVI cable vs a 3 footer, not perceptible. That said, I've never used the splitter, so I really couldn't say for sure. I'd expect it to look as though it wasn't there at all.

The 640 MB ver is a normal 8800GTS, and the 320mb ver is the GTSXXX version. I recommended getting the GTSXXX version. Which one do you think is best?
