Some older models that I've done some work to. These have been sitting for about 6-12 months.

 

2003 Ford Shelby Cobra Concept

*Carbon Fiber textures don't translate well to pictures...

 

I tried making this car in similar style to other authors cars, so it is higher poly than my normal cars, and the textures were handled differently than I am used to.

 

Polycount is 19345 for the body and 1974 per wheel.

I've been working on this for SA, I was supposed to work on the interior, but decided to texture what parts I already had finished. I still need to do the engine/interior.

 

Anyone still willing to do my Challenger and Volvo for SA, since my original converter disappeared?

How much work do they need? Do they have interior, engine and all that stuff already made? I could try to find some time to convert them if there's only dummy placing and such to do smile.gif

i did a little more work on the sunbeam

next ill finish the boot shape , then start griding model up then ill try and smooth it to the correct shape as its way to lumpy

Ive canceled the Taurus, cause its hard to build car without Bluprints. The Mesh wasn't that accurate...

Junox, it looks awesome for a scetchup model. I like the whole shape, but the only thing that maybe should be changed is the front. Give it a little curve, so it looks more round. Keep it up!

wow burner cant wait to see that shelby in San Andreas it looks amazing even better then the TDU one Repo did

You helping myster92 with his high-poly Sentinel? Looks just like it...

Only thing I see that looks "just like" myster92's is the headlights. Actually, no, it's just the headlight covers. And even then, it's only the faint lines through the center of the cover that link the two, nevermind that myster92's have 5 lines, as opposed to the 3 I see on Sylvania's.

 

 

For someone who (from what I know) has never tried any 3D modeling, I wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions. wink.gif

Tchuck, I'm scared for you. If you feel the urge to start modeling a New Beetle Cabrio, step away from 3DSM, and go kill a small animal or something else to get the testosterone flowing.

I never feel like modelling those cars though, only Ferrari and Lamborghini lately... I wonder what I'll model next.

@Schwarzer Fuchs, its a simply HDRI Image Material. Its made in Cinema4D.

But all 3d programmes support this feature.

ive just seens that movie a few days ago, what year was it made anyway?

i could go outside and take a pic of a real ZH numberplate for you to use as texture if you like tounge.gif

I love that Mini. Good smooth modeling there. What reflection map did you use for that chrome?!

 

Thanks for the comments. I think the Cobra was my best received car since I've been posting on these forums.. smile.gif

 

FlashG: The volvo is completely finished with damage modeling and everything. Just need to export and test/tune ingame. The Challenger needs damage modeling, but it is done other than that. Both have all the required opening panels/interior/engines. The Murano will be done soon with all the required stuff as well.

 

The Cobra would require more work to get ingame, so I dunno if it will be done. Even though it has an interior, it does not have doorjambs that would let me open up the doors.

This has been sitting since 2001. I actually gave up on it and a year later used the fenders on my Hemisfear concept. I decided to finish it in it's original low poly style. It is 1762 polys and 320 per wheel. I thought to myself that this is actually low enough to fit into MM1, since it's limit is around 2500 for the body, so...

Yup. First car ingame that I've put in myself in at least 4 years. I had to read the vck docs because I forgot entirely how to export a car into MM1 format... I was unpleasantly reminded on why I stopped putting cars ingame

Well damage is not biggie for me, I'd be very interested to convert them into SA if you allow me to do that turn.gif
