Cursed: what do you mean what did I do? I converted it to a GETTA, didn't like the front end of it to begin with. I ended up getting into a minor accident in a parking lot, I wasn't in the car, someone hit me and it just gave me a reason to do it as I wasn't going to drive around with a busted front light and grill so I swapped it for the golf front end, looks better and I have my lights back smile.gif

Mine's the original... sad.gif

 

And they aren't jet engines... tounge.gif They're podracer engines.

From January 29th, 2006 Almost two years old now... this is one of my first models, so yeah it sucks. And no textures, lol. It was more of a test model really.

I did tests with it using monster truck suspension. I think I could get it to work better as a vortex though... I might actually try it out now, since my skills and knowledge with SA have improved 10 fold.

Bronco knock off.

Currently 95 percent of it is a reworked Beagle.

It will replace the Nevada and will be my first model/SCM hybrid, to create extra functions and add more depth to the model.

Ha, that's pretty cool, but there's no power coupling.

When I made it I wasn't into Star Wars at all, I'd actually had never seen a full movie. But now I've seen them all, and they're bad ass! lol.gif

 

I tried updating the model and getting it to work better ingame today... but for some reason the model still shows up as the regular vortex... dontgetit.gif

@Pinky, nice to hear from you! It's been a while.. the plane is looking good. I remember you saying you were working on some plane mods through the SCM. From the looks of it, I'll say you've got twin rudders working... maybe different door animations? Maybe even separate gear doors? That'd be nice. I see this is a twin prop plane, but did you try getting more than 2 props working? It'd also be nice to have jet exhaust, and possibly an after burner mode. Just throwing some ideas out there! tounge2.gif

Sure you are updating the right img file? Happens to me a lot, I always end up overwriting a backup file by accident. Usually happens after extracting a standard model from the backup img for working on.

 

Burners and jet effects are being researched by me at the moment, I am going to do my own missile mod as well using the same missiles as standard vehicles like the hydra. Might even get them to lock on eventually. I will probably get the extra props to work somehow too, you better finish the Clipper proper this time matey as I am looking for a nice flying boat.

I have a script for making my Mig-15's guns fully functional at the moment, even have them lined up correctly. The hydra deosn't know whats hit it.

I am making the Bronco as I need something a little slower for ground attack purposes and the Mig is a little to fast for it.

 

Anyone using my Mig who is intrested in the shooters working head over to the mission mod section, I will post it up there.

well you can use edited particle system to generate those effects, like 'blue' smoke...

My DB9 knockoff from a small while ago.

 

To be honest, it was a great start considering my skill, but I'd got to a point where I didn't know how, or where to continue on the model whatsoever.

 

Heres a download link for the WIP model:

Is still needed a heftly lot doing to it, such as windows, doors, Bonnet, boot, Textures a tiny bit of the inner bumper on the back, the gearbox tunnel on the interior, and lots of other stuff, but the model I've got so far is pretty nice so help yourself, if you want to put it ingame. smile.gif

 

If anyone wants this for another mod or a TC, pm me and ask so I know where it's going. =D

well, that car is not for GTA... Its for a course on his uni or something. I think he now models the details to make a normal map from it, and apply the normal map on a more lowpoly mesh.

@ParoXum: From your last post, this looks much different and its far better looking without the normal maps done to it. Its a sweet design but these pictures here kinda turn me off, maybe its just the way you rendered it.

well, he used the highpoly model to make a normal map, the latest screenshot is a model of 4000 polies with a normal, the other you saw was 85000 polies if I remind good... thats optimization!

Started some flight testing, just interior and some gear arrangements to work on.

Minor handling work to be done to sort out the rudders too.

yeah normal maps have their limits unfortunatly but it should look nice when its textured, the unreal 3 editor is pretty nice to work with too smile.gif
