A little sneek-peek of what I was working on lately... I don't know if I'll release it, first modelling job ever

I could map the lights to be the III ones, same for the plates and doorhelds, if you want.

You know what'd look cool on that Buccaneer? If it had the III texture like darthvader suggested above and the front plate was to its left side (right side as we look at it) sorta like an Alfa Romeo style going on:

The funny thing is I actually used a III Style body texture... HazzardX helped me a lot with the car, but his III-styled up version had bugs, sadly. Apart from the doorhelds, lights and body, the interior, engine and front bumper have to look like III ones. About moving the plate, nawh, I think I'll let it stay like it is. It's because I want to be as authentic as possible

Thinking of doing Ryuuko's bike from the Kill la Kill anime for GTAIV/GTAV, although i'd need someone to import it in the game. If interested PM me.

 

 

Still a lot of parts to model, once done with the high poly i'll reduce it to low poly then bake normal maps and texture it.

 

Here's a textured test of the wheels too.

 

PD: If anyone wants the wheels for another bike project let me know.

New GTA SA Car mod- MX5 Drift missile kinda thing. It's not done as the front wheels still need to be sorted out a fair bit plus I'm still altering the rear end, but have some 80% WIP shots!

Honestly, I think you should convert to SA and then make a few versions of it. Maybe to replace the Elegant, or make an LVPD variant of it?

 

EDIT: Seeings as the Elegant is an early-90's Buick Roadmaster, why not make the older version an older '83 Delta 88? I think that car looks pretty similar, although it still has its main cues from the Caprice.

Would anybody here with a good deal of knowledge on police vehicles from the 60s/70s know what kind of vehicles SWAT teams used around that era? All I can find are some stepside vans but I'm not sure if that was all they had or they used some other stuff back then.

That's always an idea. I know in real life they slide out instead of opening outwards, though. I don't think Rockstar ever figured out how to do the sliding doors, even for minivans.

i guess you mean Stepvan. It's a quite often used van for SWAT or logistic units.

The longer version though.

Also Chevy Blazers/Silverados with after added boxes by companies. Like ambulances.

 

 

 

 

 

Or my favorite, typical New York truck that has the same back on each truck, the Emergency Service Units, come in Ford, Mack and Freightliner.
