holy moly, really clean normal map you got there. I would perhaps turn the fresnel down and have more diffuse light to make it easier to look at. other than that I love it!

 

and the last update for me before I head off to bed (hid rims and door to show the changes easier)

Well, the way you model, isn't the way to go. If you made a game like GTA3 and every car had these kind of wheels - your supercomputer would lag the sh*t out of it.

 

However, the texture is all nice, but it's too low res for my taste.

A tad lowpoly looking for me, but it's a good job. I thought it was a concept art at first glance and not a picture.

 

The rims, however, are f*cking amazing - steelwheels with screws/rivets = amazing. My first car should have something like that.

glad someone likes it ofc I could've made it higher poly if I wanted to. but I prefer going as low as I can and still make it look good, therefor the edgy look around, for example, the wheel wells.

Well, if you don't go for SA-style then you have no excuse for it to be low-poly AND having still jaggy edges. It could be lowpoly, but still seem smooth, like cars from IV, you know.

 

And sure I like, it's a nice design and model overall.
