Thought the mapping wasnt damaged and all textured included when ripping? Anyway, whats the overall polycount? I guess its the L2 (or L3 if you count the highres one as LOD) model with highres interior?

i have ben up all night (again) working on the sierra. its now 2pm and i am knackered, but battling on

 

here is a progress pic (its a bit roofless at the moment, but that should be fixed soon enough)

Are you gonna leave lights as they are now? They look bit flat with textures only and bit funny since everything else is looking smooth and detailed

if you mean on the sierra, yes, the lights will be full 3d, with reflectors & bulbs etc,

i just stuck the texture on so it looks pretty while i am making it

 

to see what the lights will look like, try my drift volvo or my zakspeed capri (both available on gtagarage)

i have new versions of the capri and volvo almost ready for release.

That Volvo Interior looks great, but you should use a better Texture. That Sierra looks simply hot, 3D Headlights and its perfect...

i haven't quite finished the texture yet, i have had an absolute nightmare finding good textures and materials for the dashboard plastics,

the texures shown are some i made in photoshop from some google image search bits. they just about tile, but i am having problems getting the scale right.

 

i will keep trying for now i suppose, i am still working on the sierra, but i will come back to the volvo soon. i really should upload some updated versions soon too, but i am concentrating on fixing as many bugs as possible before another release

 

can you point me in the direction of some good repeatable plastic/rubber textures? i am sure a better texture would make a big difference

made some progress on the Sierra RS500 today:

 

fixed some nasty mesh (still a few bits to tidy up)

added windscreen and back window, plus some rubber trims

added splitter on front bumper (not finished yet, needs to rise up front edge of wheelarch)

made dent for doorhandle

a few other tweaks, and probably some stuff that i forgot too

 

the rear spoiler (picnic table) is still problematic, but i will tackle that tomorrow

 

anyway, lots more done, even more still do do... will continue tomorrow after work...

 

 

also, i have decided to add a Stukka divebomber to my list of things to make.. will post details on my site as soon as it gets started...

Looking at the comparison pic, I assume it's for IV? I was wondering if it'll be available for SA?

There's nothing better to add than something colossal to SA (sometimes), such as I dunno... a map mod, a new script, a HUGE BOAT

Mine will probably have a Interior... maybe not full, but partly...

 

I think I'll finish it as it isn't that much work. I use some IV spare parts e.g. the stairs from tuga and seats from the Dinghy

 

but now a quick update: radar is done!

i am quite pleased with it so far.. lots more progress made last night..

it now has a roof, windscreen wipers, sunroof, rubber trims round the windows. finished "A" pillar, added back lights and lots more..

That's right... I've to weld some polys together like on the other side of the boat (see picture before). Those strange shadows appear here and there and calculate polys don't help . Anyway, I'll fix these problems later

hmm sketchup maybe? im not too sure.

 

i just use zmodeler2 for all my stuff.
