i laugh at people who hate converting between gta's, if its between games then meh your just a nark but i can understand why they wouldn't want that on the forums, theres nothing wrong with converting between the gta's, no ones loosing money, its fun to use the models in the other engine.. and i laughed really hard at what jost said the other day (MAKE YOUR OWNFUXXXING MODELS!!!!) why? the models already been made for gta, we're just putting it in another gta, we're not taking credit for the model but only converting it.

 

EDIT: if we were making money from this then yeah sure then it would be a problem.. but we're not so lol.

 

and if its like the stunters over at gtas wanting the whole fame thing and having it taken away by converters(loosing the attention), then i laugh at you even moar. (if thats the case then people want the most at the time.)

heres the last render of my mustang, i don't feel like working on it because of the funked up normals and i don't know how to fix them properly, i can edit the normals and get some of them looking better but i want to be able to totally reset them then start the detailing from there, any one that can help like link me to a tutorial or give me something to search for would greatly appreciated.

 

 

i reckon i'll let m topic go as i don't have enough progress on the car now to keep it active so i'll just post in here, so here are the rims.

Really guys, loving your renders :tu: There is actually nothing bad to say. Except for jost_vice, the model is excellent, but just create a white plane underneath it, create a skylight and use advance lightning and you have got a nice render You and the other guys are really good car modellers! I always sucked at that So I don't model cars

It's not a Sanchez edit, I made it from scratch

 

Now, I assume you use 3ds max...

To stop the plane from reflecting, you just deselect the reflection map (opened via the materials menu. To open that, press M).

I'm actually not that good. I know a guy who goes to some kind of school for 3d modelling. You should see that, it's insanely good. He modelled the new Dodge Challenger and let me tell you if it weren't the background that was so intensely white I couln't tell the difference between a real one and the moddeled one. His polycounts go way past 10K...

 

ANyway, let's stick to the topic here with some more for you

I don't know. I wanted to make a countach from the start, but i'm so lazy I called it knockoff probably because I could make errors while modelling. the door part has been kind of hard on poly layout, but I see it turned out more or less good.

 

So yeah, if you don't suggest anything good, I guess it will be a countach, under the name Infernus.

Looks good, just try smooth out the bumps and sort out a few normals issues (around the front indicator etc).

 

Oh and model the window seals, don't use alphas, looks gnarly .
