Thnanks, im still getting the car textured and adding more stuff on engine and interior. I am doing it for San Andreas, since my computer may not able to handle GTA4 at this moment (may need to upgrade my video card or the whole computer )

Ads are not that bad, they can be easily blocked with special programs or Firefox plug-in. What annoys me the most about ImageShack, is that it's painfully slow, and you have to click two times on the same picture just to see it in full resolution. It opens two different windows just to show one image .

 

Anyway, that Bimmer is coming along so nicely .

OMG after seing these cars I really want to model my own now but I need an advice from you guys what car you think it's the easiest to model/what car did you start modelling???

something boxy, avoid newer cars because of how much detail and curvature is on them.

 

i started with a pontiac GTO 67' on Zmod, kinda tricky for a first car but i made it. then for a 2nd and 3rd a camaro and bentley.

 

easy cars - old BMW's, anything 80s, most 90's europian, go with waht ever type of cars your favorite and choose one without too many curves and extreme detail really.

Yup, that's what I did, I chose a ford mustand '67 (I think, just remember it's from the sixties) and btw I'll post some screens soon

NO NO NO NOO NOOOOOOO! please don't use that mustang blueprint, it sucked donkeys balls soaked in urine. That thing is extremely inaccurate dont rely on that blueprint alone.

 

Edit: Thanks for the comment on my Cortina, i havent made significant progess since the last post. Image shack kind work despite the pop out. I didnt notice right away maybe im using firefox? As long its free and im happy.

whoa, that reminds me of the gorillaz truck for some reason. is that thing a real jeep or have you extended it ?

 

*ALSO NOTE >> ive started a new vehicle, its japanese, and doesnt contain a V8 like every model ive ever done !

pics will arrive once ive done a fair amount of it so you can make out the vehicle and guess what it is

sweet jeep and thanks Bigfoot, yeah i noticed a few problems with it, its alright im just using it as a basic guide and kinda doing my own thing, im not going for an accurate model anyway

 

EDIT: moving onto the back, its become all blocky and iuno why lol so.. yaaay we now have a blocky mustang.

 

 

EDIT: LOOOL i've accidentally taught myself to edit the normals of a car so this bitch will hopefully render properly in the end

My first model was a Citroen Saxo. It wasn`t good enough to release it for GTA San Andreas but you could see what the model was based off. It took me ages to model this car because I didn`t knew anything about copy, so I drawned all the polygons one by one.
