Holy God!

I looked at the first picture, thought "Oh Emm Jeeeee! I love it!"

then hoped that the second picture would have the rear light style I was hoping for... as they'd suit the car perfectly...

and they were the ones I was hoping for xD

I was thinking too.

But 95% of the cars are never released whats makes this topic sucks as f*ck

most people dont wana release their work, look at it this way, an average 3d car made on maya/3dsmax is worth about $60 ( its usually $99 a car with detailed engine, interior and very good paint and texture) so why would people want to release things worth this much ?

 

just look at some cars on 3dexport, now you will see why very good work usually doesnt get publicly released

iv saw many "LOW POLY" vehicles but they don't don't have any DAMN downloads

well, my stuff is usually going to be released

And I have some news for you!

Well, it's another rod from Woofi which I'm not just converting, but finishing. It's something like a joint project.

 

Last week I spent much time doing paintjobs for it, but not the usual way, because we wanted to make it rusty and dirty, combined with the carcols, so that every car looks somewhat different. So I just a complete alpha envelop around the car for the paintjobs, which makes 64 different combination considering 8 carcols with 8 paintjobs

 

here is the full gallery of all paintjobs with the carcols yellow, white and dark grey. The first one is the base paintjob with which the car is driving around usually. The last pic is the only paintjob that has no alpha, because it would look a bit stupid to have strangecolored polices

Well, there are no original pics, both the Rod and all of the paintjobs are fictional, I don't think something like that exists in real life well, simmilar for sure, but not the same.

@Tchuck: This design of yours reminds me of the Ital Design BMW they had in NFS2 and its very very sexy! sleek and very curvy in all the right areas. Two suggestions one of which fallows what everyone else is saying. The hood could use a scoop of some sort maybe something along the lines of a F-50 type hood with the split in the middle. Second, I would maybe design a new wheel for it or make the wheels you have deeper dished, that would be hot. The rear obviously deeper then the front. Just my 2 cents! great job though!

 

@Jason: That car reminds me of a concept design Camaro/Firebird, to me it resembles the older 80's KIT Firebird which was a sweet ride. Looks more American muscle then anything. This project looks promising I wait to see how it turns out. Btw much better then the before picture.

 

@Marfi: Reminds me of an old 356 Porsche hatch mixed in with some 70's Mercedes front lights and a VW rear. Very creative and original design remade from a GTA car. I also happen to fancy older car styles such as this so you did a great job! I look foward to see the final project.

 

As for me I have been without the internet for a couple weeks and have been bedroom swapping so my computer was put aside for a bit but I gave myself sometime today to work on my Boretta though it seems to be taking me alot longer then I had planned I think its turning out ok. I managed to get most of the interior done, just minor details to add to finish it off and then hopefully get enough time to map it. If I can be bothered.

 

Everything is replicated to look like the MK2 Jetta but with a touch of GTA and a little more poly detail.

No, the light does not come on at night, it comes on while the cab driver is on duty. And when you do taxi missions, the light comes on.

 

Nice idea though, how did you make it? Scripting I assume?

No, its not scripting, only just imported the .sae in the dff with RW Analyze.

Btw, its hosted on gtainside.

In the future I maybe edit it firther and I do it on the Cabbie too.
