the porsche was just a test really. me and another guy saw the new ugly porsche, so I went on google to look for the 911 carrera RS because it was one of the nicest orignal cars. so while looking for good pictures I found a blueprint of it, and on top of that I thought, alteast I can get the front right I would be happy.

so the front ended up right, but then when I started to work with the wheel arches and the side I didnt understand the blueprint properly so I really messed up. that's why I dont want to finish it, because I dont want to make a car with an accurate front but the rest is all out of place.

no changes since you saw it the last time, but just wait. this old dusty jeep will get remodeled into a professional offroad racer!

 

EDIT: new wheels, based of a pair of other wheels I saw in a game I had... cant remember the name though

and sorry about the random picture size... after I've been editing a model the new parts allways turn blue... I dont know why. so instead I just edit a printscreen which, unluckely, will get some random size.

I dont know what to put in the front grill... obviusly, not the audi one, and yeah, the back is very empty. Hope i catch some attention

This really need some slightly higher res textures, or at least different mapping of them...

I could make the textures higher res. but I really cant bother to remap the whole car I already know what car piece uses as its texture. so it would be easier my make my own high-res textures than making whole new ones.

I've been itchin to put an engine and door jambs in it every since I made it. It was originally supposed to be fully equipped, but plans changed when I got lazy. I finally found the energy to work on the car, and added all the nessecary components.

 

 

The engine is from Harlequin, and is fitting that it is a 572 like I originally planned the car to have, though I don't think you'd get it like this from the factory Since the interior wasn't created around the idea of being seen through anything other than the tinted windows, it is very simple and lacks the details of my other gta cars. I did add some pedals from another one of my cars to break up the black floorboards. Keeping with the same style, the trunk and engine bay are very simple also.

 

One problem I ran into is the design of the mirrors. I didn't think about it originally, but after opening the doors up, mirrors like I have would be impossible, because you couldn't open the door without hitting them. I guess in real life you would have to roll down the window to get in/out. I left em the same, since I didn't feel up to modeling new ones. I just rotated them with the doors in the pics, but ingame they will glitch with the door. No biggie I think, but funny I never thought of that before.

 

I believe this car already has a converter lined up The car is low 17148 polys for the model, which the 572 eats exactly 8000 of, and the wheels are 1979 for a grand total of 25068.

@Burner: wow. Seeing the work you've spend on it i'm amazed. I already though that i will have to finish it in someway. Anywa, looking awesome. The interior looks pretty decent, lowpoly but really stillish. btw, atleast in europe, most cars has the mirros attached to the doors

 

@Drunk Russian 9: Yea, of course license plate is going there. I will follow the real Q7 placing more or less, but anyway, this is not mean to be a real based car.

Burner, that Chevelle looks hot, the only part I don't quite like is the front, it somewhat looks a bit squeezed and somehow not right imo. I can't really point it out, but something doesn't look right ...

awh crap! I was just about to keep working with the Crawler GT as I realised that I didnt save my progress in a folder itself so I removed the auto save file and um... all I can do it just to redo all I did, which was just moving the top of the rear a bit forward and making new wheels. does anyone know a good pair of offrad SUV racer rims? I want to make another pair of wheels as these didnt say "woohoo! this is me!". I've been looking for a few but they doesnt seem to fit that good to what I want either... I will keep searching, but could you please post a picture of a good pair of wheels?

@Burner, I'm sure your T-Bird rocked back then. We are just too spoiled these days with hipoly models like GT5 has About your Blazer, I think roof on the back curves too much. It should be more straight

nice! now I can see that it is a porsche. and yes, that is really rare. the only time I've seen it is in a game and a picture I saw when looking for something else. it doesnt really look like a porsche, but still it's nice! some difference is good, if you're using the imagination properly.
