Crashes with my old ones Interesting, are your saves based on original unmodded main.scm/script.img files? BUGS SO FAR: - Sometimes exiting the LS Gym is near impossible, CJ keeps going back in. It took me approx. 15 tries to exit. - Can't complete the Colonel mission because the included (modded) vehicle's doors to open to receive the stolen boxes, don't open. -You missed lots of LODs: eastern SF beach, SF buildings/grassy hills, Whetstone buildings -You did not texture the wooden bridges or the sandy banks along the river (ex. between Whetstone and Flint County) FEEDBACK: 1. I agree with TheTank, CHANGE WATER TO SOLID ICE. 2. Then change all boats to sleds or something. 3. Change color/texture of water. 4. Why not a new winter wardrobe for CJ? (I am working on one.) 5. Put some coats on some peds and make them walk slower as if wading thru snow. 6. Radar map should be changed to match the white SNOWY landscape, eh? 7. I like the radar icons but they need some graphical tweaking to be more visible. 8. Building/stairway railings and bottoms should have snow on top of them too, no? 9. Why hasn't the dirt particles kicked up by tires been changed to dirty snow? 10. Tire tracks could have a muddy/snowy color too. WOULD LIKE TO SEE: A. How about snowy/icey windshields and icicles underneath on some cars? B. Grassy areas that offer some depth so when CJ or peds walk/drive on these areas, they appear to sink a bit into the snow. C. Modded scm that personalizes Snow Andreas. D. Custom GXT that offers car names to match the modded vehicles etc. E. English installation process that doesn't freak me out momentarily. (had windows popping open that I never touched) F. English README.TXT that has links to the vehicle mods you included. G. An alternative download link. Within 5 minutes of playing this, I had some awesome mod ideas... I think that you will want to include them so I will post them here when finished. I will keep playing and see what else I can come up with. By the way, the edited handling makes completing the initial missions more difficult... the crazy fishtailing, rocks! The Grove St. additions give it a nice cozy feel which is a very nice touch. I am looking forward to version 2! P.S. You may want to consider swapping the snowmobile for the mower, instead of replacing the quad (quads are fun in the snow). I was successful so I can confirm it works well. Gtapoptart Posted December 15, 2007 Share Posted December 15, 2007 forget about that last comment, I decided to uninstall it (GTA San Andreas) to play SA:MP. Then I wanted to go back on single player /w the mod. So I installed it exactly as I did the first time (which worked) and now whenever I load my game, on the loading screen the bar goes to about 75% then my game crashes? Any Help Here? Try removing this file from your SA directory: SAgfxHack.exe Ok, I did that. And It Still Doesn't work, i think it has to to do with the command prompt that comes up while your installing (GAMI) A command Prompt Comes Up and says sumthin in German, have no idea what, and then it takes me to Display Properties, i hit ok at the bottom and then it says on the command prompt cannot or unable or somehing like that, it comes up for a split second and i miss it, then b4 that one another one comes that says all these numbers in different colors and then says over and over again "1 files copied." and it keeps going and brings me to that command prompt with the display properties... i want to know what i'm doing wrong, am i installing it right? That SAgfxHack.exe runs it self at the end of installation and says "run sa, reflection fix, close" and i click close, was i supposed to run it? Then a command Prompt pops up entitled "Gta Sa Killer" and it says run gta sa and if it expierences a crash or freeze hit F7, or sumthin like that. So it crashes, (at about 75%) and i hit F7 but when it closes, the command prompt says "Gta San Andreas isn't running" and it doesnt fix the crash...Please Help Me!! It's strange how i got it to work once b4 and now it won't work again. If you know the problem, please tell me how to resolve it. Thank You, Gtapoptart.
