Über die Modifikation

Diese Mod wandelt San Andreas in eine Winterlandschaft inklusive Schneefall um. Das Konzept der Mod basiert

auf der Idee die ganze Map in eine Winterlandschaft umzuwandeln. Die Entwicklungszeit der Mod beträgt

über 3 Jahre und schlägt sich auch in vielen Details nieder. So sind die Texturen in dieser Mod nicht nur

einfach eingeweißt, es wurden echte Schneefotos als Basis verwendet, was zu einem plastischen Eindruck führt.

Die Fahrbahnen sind mit typischen Reifenspuren durchzogen, doch auch hier wurde nicht einfach nur

eine "grau" Linie gezogen. Vielmehr sind es verschiedene Profile in verschiedenen Breiten die sich

überlagern. Bei Bremsmanövern hinterlassen die Reifen des Fahrzeuges zusätzliche Spuren und machen dabei

auch die typischen Geräusche (kein Quietschen) wie sie auf Schneeoberflächen zustande kommen. Auch an

Kleinigkeiten wie Eiszapfen wurde gedacht. Die Fahrzeughandling ist den Winterungsumständen angepasst.

Die Bodenhaftung ist global für alle Fahrzeuge um 30% gemindert. Für Fahrzeuge die nachträglich installiert

werden gilt das ebenfalls! Desweiteren wurde auch eine Vielzahl von Gebäudetexturen erneuert, diese hier

jedoch alle aufzuzählen wäre zu umfangreich. Doch das war es noch nicht an Details, jeder von euch kennt

sicher die Werbetafeln die auf der ganzen Map verteilt sind. Jetzt wäre es natürlich leicht, diese gegen

irgendwelche Markenwerbung zu ersetzen, dies wurde hier jedoch nicht gemacht. Die User auf gta-action waren

aufgerufen ihre Werbeplakate einzusenden, jeder konnte für seine Homepage oder für sein Web-Projekt eine

Werbegrafik entwerfen die nun eine der zahlreichen Werbetafeln ziehrt. Es sind noch weitere Randobjekte

wie Telefonzellen,Laternen,Container und Getränkeautomaten überarbeitet worden.

Viele PED´s haben passende Winterkleidung verpasst bekommen, so stapfen die Prostituierten nun im

dicken Pelzmantel durch San Andreas. Selbstredend das auch CJ Winterklamotten für sich kaufen kann.

Ein großer Teil dieser Modifikation besteht aus neuen Fahrzeugen, die die kantigen Original-Modelle ersetzen.

Bei den Fahrzeugen wurde darauf geachtet, dass sie dem Original so nah wie möglich kommen.

Der fiktive Staat San Andreas wurde auch ein bisschen erweitert, so gibt es nun in der Nähe vom

Santa Monica Peer einen riesigen Berg der sich ideal zum Driften im Schnee eignet.

 

Unterm Strich kann man sagen, dass dieses Mod-Pack die wohl umfangreichste Modifikation für GTA-San Andreas ist

 

Mein besonderer Dank geht an all die vielen Co-Autoren ohne deren Arbeit

dieses Mod-Pack niemals das geworden wäre, was es heute ist!

 

GAMI vs. WIN32

Einfache Regel

Wer GTA SA V1.00 US/EU (und ich meine nicht nach einem Downgrade) hat sollte GAMI verwenden.

Wer eine andere Version hat MUSS bei der Erstinstalltion den Win32SelfInstaller benutzen. Danach kann man auch mit GAMP-Files arbeiten.

And if you don't like the idea of "snow in a desert" then just choose not to install the "Desert" part of it.

Some of the wheels included with "Snow Andreas" are corrupt, re-downloading should fix any/all tuning problems.

Ermmmm......i cant download it.....it might be my very bad understanding on German but hey.......i ran that download link through a translator that told me i had to register but thte buttons to register wouldnt work....then when i searched that thread on that site for the download link it wouldnt work? can you put up a DL somewhere decent? and english? or something.........i really want to play this mod it looks great.........

when i try to extract the rar file, i get error# 25116, error: bad block, and then it says CRC error, file ...... could not be extracted correctly! and then it just stops like not even a quarter or a way there. help please!

Hey, i've downloaded the mod, and installed GAMI... But when i load the mod in the client, and located my san andreas installation... But when i press the Installieren button, the prog's CPU usage goes to 99% and does nothing... Can u release a non gami version?

Okay, since nobody wanted to help me before, but... Sorry for the bump the gami program isn't working at all.. Whenever i click on a button (even chat, or optionen) the prog's CPU usage goes up to 100% and nothing else happens.

 

My op is a Windows XP professional with service pack 2.

I think you are using a hebrew language OS. GAMI currently works only with latin language OS. sry. But if GTA Forums host a 500 MB File i can create a WIN32 SelfInstaller which will be work on all OS
