I've used with a lot of my .avi stand-up comedies I've downloaded over the years, and it works okay I think. It's simple to use and straight-forward, and I haven't had a bad result using it, so I'd say at least try it out.
anus
Hey guys. I was just thinking about something, has anyone attempted modding the PS3 hardware wise? When I get my PS3 (crosses fingers), I'm thinking of doing some cooling mods on the case to get the max performance out of it and to keep it running well for a long time unlike my PS2 which f*cked up in like two months . So, has anyone attempted anything of this sort? Basically what I want to do is to add some more fans to the PS3's case.

anus
The thing is, over here it is EXTREMELY hot and I'm pretty sure that's the reason my PS2 died so quickly (even though it was well ventilated on the floor). Do you think that the stock cooling would be enough with the EXTREME temperatures that we have over here?
sainraja
PSN was updated today with a demo of DiRT and NCAA 08. The second episode of Heavenly Sword Anime and a bunch of other trailers. It was nice to try the DiRT demo on the PS3. I tried it on the 360 and finally on the PS3 and I can control it much better using the Playstation controller but it's nothing like MotorStorm. I find Motorstorm to be a little more fun.....DiRT is a little on the technical side.....meaning its more realistic.....more like a simulation. It's more like an arcade rally racing game....which is why I enjoyed it more. DiRT is still fun though. I played the demo quite a few times trying to get the best lap on it. SIP YEK NOD
dirt is quite arcadey too. motorstorm is kinda way over the edge arcadey like recent need for speeds, dirt is kinda the PGR of rally games, almost half and half in a fun mix. rallisport challenge/richard burns rally is a rally sim. soleil
Concerning leaving your console on 24/7: Whatever console I am playing, I used to leave that console running 24/7 and never thought about problems with overheating... I did that with the xBox and the PS2 with no problems. I've had a PS3 for almost a month now and I have been leaving it on 24/7 for about 4-5 days at a time, with no problems. The only reason I'm even cautious now, with the PS3, and not leaving it on 24/7 ALL THE TIME... is cause of the 360 overheating problems. Until that started happening, I never ever thought a gaming console would overheat even from being left on 24/7. But the way things look, I probably can leave my PS3 on 24/7 all the time... I just have to gain the bravery to.

I've never seen the point of leaving a system unless downloading or playing (obviously) It takes 2-3 seconds to start up, and it saves you future 'problems' if you just take the extra time to turn it off when finished. soleil
It takes longer than that to start up... on xBox you press the power button to start up NCAA Football or San Andreas on the PS2 and you won't be playing and having fun in 2-3 seconds. Presumably once Home is released, since a lot of features that have been rumored to be on 2.00 are in heavy relation with the application. So probably around late September/October we'll be seeing an update, at least a major one. Warhawk coming right around the corner, am looking to get into Lair and DiRT too. CJVercetti
PS3 is my favorite system right now [having played the XBox and the Wii]. It has the most potential out of all the systems [hence why I bought it]. Unfortunately there's not many games out now, but it's the summertime and there seems to be a drought of video games at the moment. Once the PS3 gets some games, it's gonna pwn even harder. PSN ID is in my sig -- I think
