jking Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 Yeah, the Darkness(as well as GRAW2) demo came out yesterday for us here in the US. Different regions get different things at different times. To be honest, the GTA4 delay was a load off my shoulders. So many good games were coming out so close to the release of GTA4, and I knew that I would not be able to get/play them all. But now with the delay, although I didn't want it, it kind of helps me out a bit. I will probably pick up Warhawk and then Assassin's Creed when they come out. Plus Home is in October and now I will have time to screw around with that. yea there will be alot of cool games out but none that compare to GTA IV but we will see....Killzone 2 and maybe MGS 4, im not trying to compare them but the magnitude they will have for the ps3. jking Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 i think my ps3 just died! i turned it off yesterday because of lightning in the area and didnt want a sugre...so when i got home tonite and my controller wouldnt turn the ps3 on and i manually powering it on and the fan powers up and then seems to die. im gonna be pissed if its really dead which it seems to be. SIP YEK NOD Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 my ps3 refuses to output through component i have tried 2 different cables(old 3rd party ps2 cable, and new sony branded ps3 cable), tried 2 different tvs, and tried both starting the unit with just component plugged in, and tried setting it in the display settings, it refuses to do component. halp? When switching back and forth from a regular TV to an HDTV, I sometimes forget to switch it back to the right setting, and I get sound, but just a black screen, so i have to put the AV cables back in, switch it over, and then change the settings, and swithc it back again. If you have an eyetoy camara that you use for PS2, it works on the PS3. You may not think it has a microphone in it, but it does. Hmm, many places are saying its been pushed back to Nov. 30th for UK.....while others on the net are saying its a worldwide release....ugh....so I can't say for sure. =/ Sorry.
