nablec00 Posted February 1, 2007 Share Posted February 1, 2007 Ok,to those before who said to delete the player_a.dat file,gta1 free needs it otherwise it does the same thing. Ok make a backup folder somewhere and copy the player_a.dat file into it after installing gta 1 free. Once it runs,play and do whatever. When your done, go to the backup folder and get the backup copy of player_a.dat and copy it into the now currupted gtadata. THX! Sektor Posted February 2, 2007 Share Posted February 2, 2007 (edited) I knew it was something like that. I still don't know why that file gets corrupt on on some systems. It has never happened on any of my systems, so it seems like a 3rd party program could be doing it.
