*MURDOC* Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 I have been thinking of games that would be cool to have, things that nobody really seems to think of for some reason. Hmmmm, that sounds kinda vague so ill get right into it. What from the past would you like to make a return? It could be from whatever, a new version of a "classic" game or tv show, or even movie. A few of my pics would be: TV-Knight Rider: Cool theme music, although the show can be corny (no sh*t) it would make a cool premise for a new game, what with the cool car gadgets and plenty of action, and missions could be taken directly from episodes, and also original mission can be thought up. Movie-Back to the future: One of my favorite trilogies, why hasnt it been revived for the next-gen? There are plenty of possibilities with this one, although some may be rather impossible to do, if you made it mostly follow the plot of the movies, it could work i think. TV-The A-Team: Action, Explosions, a cool group of unique fellas each with their own "thing", a sweet van, and Mr. T! What else can i say? Game-Jumping Flash: I just loved this game, and with a new Warhawk on the way for ps3, its a possibility id say. In my opinion, its due for a next-gen overhaul, but it should still keep its "cute" charm. Theres plenty more out there too, and i want to hear what you think! wade1972 Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 An A-Team game could be cool...but these could be fun: Kung Fu (based on the tv show) Highlander (based on the first movie) some of the Steve McQueen movies of the 70s would be awesome. Vanishing Point would be as well. Dirty Harry is coming, so that doesn't need to be added. Revenge of the Nerds could be a riot if done right. But a Freddy vs. Jason game would be off the chizzains. Think of the trying to move from one Jason fight, to messing with the agile and quick Freddy. Or, even better, imagine being either of them. I want it to be exactly the same as old-school DooM, all the same levels, monsters, weapons, etc. I just think it'd be cool playing through it again on a more sophisticated engine. Carmaggedon. But a remake of skool Daze would be sweet. • Stargate SG1 I know the last title was cancelled, but please! WE WANT • Wing Commander I loved the whole mixing of movie and game and being able to choose the way you progress. • “V” the mini series Remember that cheesy 80’s sci fi show?
