My game wont startup

Just like the title says my GTA:SA won't start up it won't even get to the logos if they do show up it will start up but it's like a 1/10 chance that will happen.

My PC specs are

 

Manufacturer:

NVIDIA

Processor:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs)

Memory:

2048MB RAM

Hard Drive:

250 GB

Video Card:

Dual NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTs with SLI enabled (tried disabling it no luck)

Sound Card:

Realtek AC97 Audio

Operating System:

Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)

 

I've been searching forever for an answer and I see a lot of people have the same problem as me but I can never get the answer. I have tried deleting the gta_sa.set file and that didn't work. I do own a legitimate copy of the game and it worked fine on my old sh*tty computer. Can anyone help me find the answer to my problem?
