GTA_Loco Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 I had this list before but somehow I misplaced it somewhere Anyways, only three I can remember right now are "Ignored"(or something like that), "National Crisis"(2nd to the highest) and "Stuff of Legends"(highest). It's the degree of chaos and destruction you commit that would change your media attention. Just raise your wanted level by commiting more violations killing peds and destroying a lot of vehicles. I think CR is more about your ranking as a felon and level of respect as a gangster, whereas Media Attention is more like the imaginary level of "attention" you stir in the city, although both are basically affected by the degree of some of the violations you commit. Media Attention for what I gathered, for one, isn't affected or changed by completing missions, whereas CR is. So far here is what I was able to list, not sure though if it's the correct hierarchy: 1. Ignored 2. Boring 3. Front page of local paper 4. Vaguely Interesting 5. Picture in UFA Today 6. I had practicly memorised all the wanted stars along the journey of SSV, and most of them were in convenient places to where I was going. A tip would be get an invincible bike from the bike salesman mission, or the carsalesman, but I prefer bike because it can get through traffic easier. Make sure you have collected lots of hidden packages and get lots of sub machine ammo. I never really got off my bike at all, only when they spawn inside the train station. Find a map of the Police Bribes and use them, I never had more than a 2 star wanted level. By the way, you get the Hero Garb for completing it. Doberman1 Posted February 11, 2007 Share Posted February 11, 2007 There are a few international mentions in the game as well, such as international crisis and such. And the easiest way I found to get a high media attention without cheats was at the top of the parking structure near the save spot in Stauton Island. It's easy to pick off helicopters without cops bothering you and you can run down to your hideout if your health runs low. I got my criminal rating up doing that too.
