I've already tried four different Xbox related forums, and each one either locked my topic for no reason, or they told me to gtfo. There is one left, though, where everyone's being quite helpful. Off to give it a Playtest in a while. I was a big fan of the FF series and used to love a good RPG session back in the day. Also just been offered a copy of Stranglehold by the local warez chap but I have it on preorder for friday. I can wait. I do, its a good game, but not as much as the first. The construction yard (the best part of number 1 to me) is awful now. Seddo Posted September 12, 2007 Share Posted September 12, 2007 Has anyone downloaded the videos of the Sega Rally game, in my opinion it does look pretty good and fun to play. I think the cars actuall tracks stay on the course so each time you go around a lap it will effect your car. The technical videos of how the game is played are coolt o watch. I was contemplating wheter to buy a the wireless adapter for the 360, or get a different one for my PC. Will I have to get both one for my PC and one for my 360 or is there one that'll do both (I'll only be using one at a time so I don't mind unplugging one)? Can't wait for the 28th. If you're on about Skate, it's been delayed in Europe 2 weeks. Now the 12th. Not got a sauce, but I'm sure it's at the usual places. And CoD4 perks really break the game for me. I dunno, just seems to make the game too unbalanced. Never been in a game so far where someone has come from behind. Always been one sided. I know it is a demo but the game is a piece of sh*t, and it is planned to come out in a month. Not only did the demo completely freeze up while I played it so that I had to exit back to the dashboard, but it is lacking so much that it advertised it would cover. I dont know if it will be the case in the real game, probably not, but in this demo game you can't even get off your damn skateboard by default. Closest you can get to it in the demo is just stopping in place. What about all the pole climbing and sh*t to get to better areas?!! Also, the balance meter is disgustingly ugly and annoying. Unlike previous ones, this meter is on either side of the character as kind of white streaks that turn red to green depending on how balanced you are. It really is a pain to use personally and I find it to be rather un-inventive. Further, I am almost 100% positive that it is a previously developed type of balance meter that was going to be used in an previous title but was abandoned for how sh*tty it was. I just seem to remember seeing it somewhere before. Over all, the graphics are pretty sh*tty as well. At least from my perspective. I would say it isn't even close to the previous Tony Hawk 8. I just found it to be choppy and underdone. Even in the pre-shot scenes at the beginning you can see the sh*tty character work. One skater slams into a cop in the video and you can literally see him enter into half of the cop and disappear before the cop gets knocked to the ground. You would think that if they were making it part of some sort of "storyline" like they did, they would have tried a little harder. I was disappointed by the Skate demo but now, after trying this new Tony Hawk, I am beginning to seriously reconsider giving it another chance. I've got $23 laying around, and the only game I have is Saints Row, so I've got to pick up something. I'd prefer an XBL-compatible FPS, if I ever get XBL working. Dead Rising. It may not be online (only Leaderboards) but its definatley worth the purchase and should be in every 360 collection. Dont worry about being scared. Theres some humor in there. That first trailer didn't make you feel sad for the guy!??!?!? sh*t, you're cold. I started breathing really fast after watching it. Not scared scared, but scared sad. That monster was violent.
