spyro_ie
Unfortunatly I can't borrow anything. None of my friends have 360, which amazes me. I can't imagine still buying games for my PS2.
AZAZEL
I've lost both a copy of Crazy Taxi, Red Faction and Need For Speed: High Stakes like that.
Grandthefter
crazy taxi was a legend of a game, shame you lost it like that. Anyway, onto more 360 stuff - anybody picked/picking up two worlds? I was going to get it one release but i haven't bothered yet, i ahven't even got the game and i've already gone off it a bit - anybody got any different reviews? Nick Papagiorgio
Who still plays GoW online? Once I got my Live subscription a month back, I've been playing every weekend or so. XN22
I do every now and then with my cousin. I'm playing single player Forza more though.
Janitor
Who still plays GoW online? Once I got my Live subscription a month back, I've been playing every weekend or so. I tried... so very hard. But after awhile, the 12-year-olds grew wary on me. I serioulsy heard " You f*cking titface" more than once while playing GoW. XN22
Janitor, I'm sorry I called you a f*cking titface. Haha nah, I usually play with volume off because of that sh*t. I just put on some music instead.

I was removed from one game, because the host asked the other players if they wanted to play with a "ni**er". The host sounded like his balls hadn't dropped yet. I'm not even black. It's more fun playing with Xbl friends and people you know. Edited September 8, 2007 by Nick Papagiorgio
SIP YEK NOD
It's more fun playing with Xbl friends and people you know. yeah, but you still do meet some good people on xbl. more than half of my friends list is people i have only met through games. eventually you can get a large group of friends there, and can bassically avoid assholes. Aye, very true. I remember when halo 2 came out, that first year I made like, 40% of the friends that are on my list through it. I have some thoughts I'd like to get off my chest. I really feel like EA doesn't give a sh*t about us, the consumer. Even with awesome titles like the Godfather on the 360, they still make sh*t only possible through buying. Retardedly, I actually made the mistake to buy something on the marketplace for it. It was the 800 MS Point "Don's Package" thingy, where it SAYS you get all the best weapons and large amounts of money. Bullsh*t. I got it (since I sucked balls and kept losing 80% of my mob wars) and expected to have the awesome guns and a whole bunch of money, but all it did was unlock the arms dealers who sell the guns to you. You STILL have to buy the f*cking guns with in-game money. Which takes forever if you haven't advanced very far (and if you have advanced very far already, you wouldn't need to buy the f*cking thing.) This honestly makes me scared for skate. EA's greedy, f*cked up system of marketing will probably force you to buy with real money alot of things you're gonna want. I hate it. ...besides that I ain't sayin nuthin. XN22
You paid 800 points for that? Let me just ask this...Why? I'm not scared for skate. though, probably because I rarely, if ever buy DLC. I don't see what they'd possibly put in as DLC for that game though. I'd imagine it'd just be extra boards, clothing, etc, nothing major. Now, I could be completely wrong though. Seddo
I know how you feel, as i was trying to get to level 50 respect and i had done everything possible in the game, i was running around getting little bit of respect here and there, so i went to the Marketplace and bought the bonues hit missions so boost my respect. When i completed the hit missions i got acrappy bit of respect after each mission which hardly gave me a boost at all.
Digïtál £vîl
The only expansion pack I have ever paid for was the new levels for Gears of War. What I really hate is the fact that they always offer the DLC at a weird number so if you buy the MS points off XBL you always end up with extra MS points because they only sell the MS points at certain preselected numbers. I mean, sure you can always end up using it later on more DLC, but for someone like me, I don't like to waste my money on that stuff. So I end up having unused points sitting around for a long while till I find something of worth for me to buy. Which is usually never. haha. Who doesn't love a harpoon gun?! yeah, the crackdown DLC was great. apparently they sold it over 700k times, putting to bed the myth that everybody just bought the game for the halo beta. now that you brought it up.... darthYENIK
For those who care, the new Tony Hawk game demo will be available tomorrow on XBL. I don't, I really really don't. For the first time in seven or eight years, I don't want to play the new Tony Hawk demo. I've played the demos for the others (most notably the first two) non stop until their full game's release. Skate has completely zapped my tolerance for the franchise. I can play the demo for skate, and be more satisfied than playing ANY full Tony Hawk game. SIP YEK NOD
thats a little harsh. tony hawk will always have a place with its over-the top, pure fun style. i will probably be getting both, but the transition between them is just brutal. Pat
Okay, I'm having Live problems again. I set the settings back to Factory Default, and the IP test is still failing. Now, it's telling me something about the DHCP refusing access. Anyone know what to do? I've tried hooking it up to the Ethernet Hub, and a direct connection to the DSL modem. Told me the same thing on each. Network connection test is still passing, though. Hate to quote myself, but I know there's someone here who knows what to do. Here's what it says, word for word, whenever I test the Xbox Live connection: "Your console was unable to negotiate a lease with your DHCP server. Make sure that adresses are available on your server." And as usuall, network connection test passes, IP test fails.
darthYENIK
Yeah. I'm not saying I WANT to choose between them. I've probably played more Tony Hawk than anyone on here (High school drop outs have plenty of time), but I seriously have absolutely no desire to play those games. And it's been this way since I first pressed the X button to push the board on the skate demo. As for the DLC discussion. Almost everything is overpriced. And I hate figuring out the conversion from real money to points. It gets confusing.
Digïtál £vîl
For some reason, I don't like Skate. And I used to even skateboard myself. idk, it just didn't do it for me. I downloaded the demo, played it, deleted it after I was done.
XN22
I like it, but for some reason I can't kickflip right, when I try to, it usually shuvits. I hate how people make it out to be the most realistic game ever though. I remember reading on here that it made them feel like they accomplished something when they landed the first ollie. Isn't that a little exaggerating?
darthYENIK
I said that, and no I don't think it was exaggerated. First off though, It was when I first ollied up a ledge that I felt that sense of accomplishment. I don't feel that anymore when I ollie up a ledge. But it was very satisfying that first time. And if I ever say it's realistic, I'm saying that because it's the closest thing I've felt to skateboarding in a video game. I'm not saying it looks photo realistic or anything like that, just that it does for a die hard seventeen year skateboarder like myself what no other game has done before, which is feed my need to skateboard, much like what a skate video would do.
XN22
Well yeah it's realistic no doubt, but I've never felt a sense of accomplishment when I play a video game. I'm in the "I used to skate" crowd, and it's pretty cool to relive those days of my...er...energeticness. Maybe I'm just very "plain" and don't express much feeling, I don't know. Seddo
This was over a year ago, before they started sprouting up everywhere. Well there you go then, over a year ago. Xbox were probably trying to hide the situation about the overheating problems but since it's out and everybody now knows about the problems then there's nothing to hide anymore so now the topics stay open. Also i've posted quite a few topics about my problems and not one has been locked or deleted, the other users ahve been quite helpful aswell as a few staff members.
