Pat Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 Good news: I finally got my HDD. Bad news: I can't set up Xbox Live. Right now, I've got my 360 connected to a Netgear Ethernet Hub, along with my PC, and of course my DSL modem. Problem is, whenever I test Xbox Live, the Network connection test passes, and the IP test fails. Both the IP and Subnet are invalid. Any help? Gimme a sec to get a link for you. If that doesn't work maybe it doesn't support the ISP? Edit: Hmm, I didn't know certain ethernet hubs/routers/etc are uncompatible. I didn't see the name of mine on either the compatible, nor uncompatible list, but then again it's not a router, gateway, or wireless bridge. I'm going to try without the hub. Double edit: Nope, doesn't work if I connect it directly to the modem either. This is just a guess, but maybe the problem is that it has the wrong IP/Subnet? I just picked up a brand new one from best buy and it is the latest model with the HDMI port on it. While setting it up I noticed a very strange thing. The power supply has no ground out prong on it. Instead of the 3-plug cable my original xbox had, this one is only a standard double, with no ground on it. This confuses me. And now that I've played the demo, I actually disagree with it being the same. The physics of skating are revamped. You are actually able to skate at different speeds, as opposed to either stopped or full speed ahead. You can skate sideways, giving you the ability to skate in a circle and face one direction. As well, the hit physics are better, the goalies seem much smarter, and probably the coolest feature (seen in the demo) the ability to slap pass the puck to a forward so they can deflect it in the net. That's just a few features. In the full game, you are able to make much more fully customized players, as well as custom teams. And you get to finally play with a full minor league system. As for Bertuzzi and Pronger... Bertuzzi = Pronger = But they both play for the Ducks, and I have to represent, even if they are assholes. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Run outside the door, killing every zombie near you. Wait outside the door until he takes a drink and then shoot him with the handgun I assume you have, and run back out. I love how you can pick up random objects.
