You should try playing GRAW 2 online. You can't get on any ranked game if you are level 1. That said, you can't improve your rank if you can't play on ranked games. You get kicked right away anytime you try and join one. It's down to Ubisoft. They have allowed hosts to kick people from ranked games. So if a higher rank get's owned he goes down a rank. This means he wont have you in his room for fear of losing that precious little digit next to his name. I never really got into the whole Halo vibe but am willing to give this beta a run out I think. In other news. Theres a demo of the new Tenchu Z on the Japanese marketplace. Might have to create a new Japanese account to go with both my US (Better marketplace) and my Canadian (Cheap point cards) accounts.A lot of bother though for something that should be universal. Oh and it's worth having a US account for Aegis Wing. It's the sh*t. Messiah To The Animals #Cyclop9
Seddo
I have not played a single ranked game on GRAW 2 i'm always on player matches, it's more fun, where people on ranked games take it way to serious instead of having fun. But getting kicked from ranked games does seriously take the piss, how are you supposed to level up if people are scared of getting owned by you and just kick you. I'll have to make an American account and a Jap account. there's supposed to be sh*t more stuff on market place on the American marketplace isn't there, which takes the piss because we pay the xbox live as well. I wish the UK get treated the same as North America with all this stuff their getting. Finally got 1000/1000 on GRAW 2 yesterday.
imheretostay
What's this with seperate UK and US marketplaces, do I need to make a nwe Live account to get more stuff, and does the new account cost or can I just make a silver one? imheretostay
I need to make a decision: Crackdown Pros Lots of people and cars on the streets (City feels alive) Cool superhero aspects Awesome car physics Cons(Judging by the demo) Shallow storyline Poor graphics (Style) Absolutely horrible autoaim system No real melee mode No multiplayer (?) Saint's Row Pros Great graphics As close as you get to GTA4 at the moment Good autoaim system Fun sidemissions (Store robbing, pimp recruiting, etc) Good storyline (Judging by demo) Fun melee mode Online multiplayer Character customization ConsTerrible run-animations Framerate issues (In the demo, atleast) Poor multiplayer system (From what I hear) Dumbed down car-physics Lack of life in the city (Low amount of peds and cars, etc)
GTAThomas
The one thing that really keeps me from enjoying Saints Row is the frame rate. It's got to be at least 20 most of the time. Maybe I'm just used to high-end PC gaming.

I don't know why, but I just can never seem to sit down and try my hardest to get them. But then again, the games I have dont exactly make me want to get them *cough*Gears*cough* ...besides that I ain't sayin nuthin.

TOGA62
I never really got into gamer points until now. After viewing achievments online I now want to go and play the sh*t out of ranked games in GOW. Only bad thing is both my tv and couch are now gone as of 10:30 AM this morning. f*ck. Not going to get another TV for another 2 weeks or more, so unless I can easily convert my computer monitor to work, no 360 for me. I think it's about time I invested in a nice HD tv. I'm going to work my ass off this summer and save up, hopefully enough to get a super nice 1080P HD TV. Then I'll switch my 360 out for an elite from my work and plug and play using the HDMI port. God, I'd never get off my system if I do this. Thats why I'm so freaking excited to do it. I ALMOST bought a 42 Inch LCD HDTV today on ebay. Was brand new with a 3 yr warrenty, free shipping. Included 2 HDMI ports along with a ton of other stuff. Only would have cost me 1,099 Dollars and it retails at 2,299. the ONLY reason I did not order it was because it was 1080i not 1080p. If I cant get the best out there I don't want anything at all haha. Social: TOGA62 PS3: balltowellamp

Almost all hdtvs come with component connections and alot have VGA. Your monitor probably has VGA.
beanmachine43
Just borrowed SC:Double Agent a couple of days ago, and am loving it. No downloadable content yet tho is there? GFX's are amazing. I loved it as well. The only disappointing thing about it is that the last-gen versions(Xbox I played it on) have a better developed storyline, where some things that aren't tied up in the 360/PS3/PC versions are in the PS2/Xbox versions. The daylight missions were great, as well as the sometimes annoying JBA pony-farm missions. Now that I think about it, I never actually beat it! And for imheretostay, go with Saints Row. If something more like GTA IV is something that you're going for, Saints Row is the better game, and overall is as well IMO. There's some great moments in the game, humorous and just flat-out awesome ones. The only reason I planned on purchasing Crackdown was because of the Halo beta, but now I have no online, so I have to go to a buddy's to play. That being said, Saints Row online is horrid, at least from what I experienced. Single player is where it's at, to me Saints Row is just the better game. Seddo
Me thinks someone only plays games for achievement points . No not always, there's a couple of games i woudn't usally buy but since it woudn't cost me anything, there nothing wrong with alittle gamerscore boost. I have still got loads of games that i played becuase i like and not really just for achievement points, but i can't do nothing if they pop up during gameplay. Ya americans get tv on their xbox and movies wtf, are europeans not good enough for Microsoft. I think that's sh*t that us Europeans don't get treated the same from Microsoft, we have to pay all the same fee's to download the stuff via Xbox marketplace and we shouldn't be treated differently. No wonder people are making Jap and American accounts to get the extra stuff.
Colanbarry
Tried setting up an american account the other night it really pissed me off, i dont want to give microsoft any more money than i have to, sooner or later they'll give us something. @Seddo Fifa road to the world cup and world cup 2006 have the easiest achievements and fight night round 3 if your looking to boost your gamerscore. Bauer
I need to make a decision: If you are more into GTAs instead of, say, Spiderman/Mercenaries, then I say GTA4. I like Saint's Row more. It has a story that usually involves shooting stuff while blowing other stuff up, wow-inducing gameplay, neat physics and customization, etcetera. (Side)Missions are a lot of fun (I have beaten the game 100%, and I did it because it was really f*cking fun to do so, despite tags...), customization is really engrossing (I have 50+ customized cars and all of the clothes... fun to do so etc.), physics and graphical detail is amazing compared to SanAn, and there is insurance fraud, which is addicting like crack to watch and play. Multiplayer can be a mixed bag, though... it can be really fun and addicting to being really lame with the lag. I've had more fun with it than I have had frustration, though. I like Crackdown, but comparing my own game experiences with those games, I had may more fun with Saint's Row. Unless if you have a good friend that has (or will be willing to buy) Crackdown that you could play with online, I say Saint's Row. I say rent them both, first (or get a better second-opinion...). I seem to be a biased or fanboyish or whatever... Speaking of Crackdown, is there a reason why, when I search for a game using Quick/Custom Match, I can never successfully join? It rather never loads (says: waiting for other user), or it says: "The person you are trying to join is playing a single-player game and has denied your request to join." What the hell? I have been able to join a couple of games, but it's usually really laggy or the guy doesn't talk to me, making it as bad as single-player. Anyone know, or at least wanting to f*ck about on Crackdown? Edited May 22, 2007 by Bauer
Andyzoot
Bauer, that basically means nobody wants to play with you. It's better to arrange something with a friend, I know there are a bunch of Crackdowners on GTAF you could arrange something with.
Bauer
Yeah, that was my initial thought. I Thought (hoped) that maybe there was a glitch or something occuring. So it goes... I would be content with setting a game up with a GTAF member, but it makes it seem like I am obligated to play with that person, etc., drama ensues. I'd rather just jump into a game and f*ck about with someone for a while. This comes from the fact that I really don't like socializing with people on the net... some people can be so... um, odd, nahmeen? I like to treat people online as objects that are simply there to entertain/help me win the damn game, which is the cause of my chronic teamkilling. Or, idealy, have a good friend that I know personally to buy Crackdown, but most of my friends would have to buy 360s first. The ones that have a 360 are too poor/lazy/ignorant to buy Crackdown. Oh well.

Bauer
I mis-read and thought you were looking for game already out that you have missed, not games that will come out. Sorry about that. idk, try gamespot? I concur, seeing as most games that I am anticipating (for the 360) aren't coming out until the Autumn months. I guess I would like to know about games that are coming out soon, but usually if I do not, by chance, see some information posted on a gaming site (or gaming blog) about the soon-to-be-released game, I assume that the game isn't really worth my consideration. There are exceptions to this rule (i.e. my orig. Xbox game library), but usually that's how it works out for me. But yeah, I'd be interested if anyone has found a hidden gem that'll be coming out soon...
zeta1
I haven't been playing my 360 considering I broke the microphone and am such a cheap bastard I can't buy another. Iminicus actually sent me one(how generous) so I'll be online. My question here is, do any of you guys play without voice communication? I know Daz does, what a c*nt . I can't play my 360 without my headset, grabbing the controller by itself makes me feel naked and I can't play well. Not to mention sometimes depending on the game, you'll get kicked out of rooms. It should be here in 5-8 days, w00t. Bauer: That world in conflict RTS is going to be coming out, might come out for consoles too. w00t.
