Time Vault

I have the cheat called "Time Vault" that allows you to skip missions when you walk into the marker. (i've beaten this game a handful of times so I just want to play certain missions)

 

Unfortualty, i had a computer crash but happened to save the zip file. But in that zip file, the readme file that described how to activate it was missing. Can someone help me out with this?

Relevant pinned topic. Time Vault itself does not exist for SA. Rather, Mission Passers do. This might be relevant if you've been using, for example, VC or III's Time Vault with SA as the mission scripts will obviously be incompatible and thus a catalyst for the crash might just have been discovered.

 

Anyway, that topic should cover you nicely. The Mission Passers come in a ZIP file, as you mentioned. You might as well download it again to obtain the missing readme file. Otherwise, just unzip it, and replace the game's original mission script (main.scm, in a default install found in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\data\) with the edited Mission Passers one. Ensure to back-up the original first (rename it to originalmain.scm or similar), so when you're done using the Code Tool, you can easily swap back and resume regular gameplay.
