the C+D method will still work, and downgrader will most likely be out by monday.

 

it's pretty funny that the LCS save game exploit edison found wasn't patched as well as everyone thought, and will be the thing that makes them downgradable. so everyone on 2.81+ better dust off their old copies of LCS, OR start scouring ebay for an OLDER unpatched version. this will NOT work on a game you can buy new in stores today.

Wrong, I said a Used copy won't be an old copy. Simple as that, with my luck I would end up buying a copy that is useless and that is a new one evan though it was used. I could easily get a used copy for fifteen. But who says that it's an old copy? Oh and in my state you can't rent PSP games.

I am fairly sure there are ways to tell if the copy is the newer patched version or not, something to do with the serial number or SLUS number.

I didn't know renting psp games is illegal in your state.

You both are forgetting that the unpatched version of LCS has the 18 in the red circle, I think that the Patched one doesn't, I pretty sure it was that thing to see what version you have.....

 

I also want to know, Is the LCS and VCS CD compatable wiht 3.03 OE A or whatever it is....

It's very easy to tell if it's the old version.

 

Stick it in your PSP.

 

If it has a 2.60 update then it's the new version.

 

If it has a 2.00 update then it's the old version.

Yes, it works perfectly, I've only used one downgrader, but this is so easy to downgrade I went from 2.81 to 3.03, back to 1.50, then up to 3.03 OE-C

why would you want 2.71?

just downgrade ot 1.5, and then upgrade to 3.03 OE-C

 

the downgrader will patch your motherboard to allow the 1.5 update to work.
