GrandMaster Smith
Okay, So I was watching to L.A. Noire video (clicko del video) and I was watching when the guy was running, and the background kind of looked like the first GTAIV fake screeny we saw. So I took two SS's (they appeared a little darker when I pasted them), but I still kinda think that's where it could have came from. No real point to this, just something I noticed and thought I'd say so. And here I saved ya the trouble: Thoughts?
zeta1
I like your little theory, although this should go into the gta4 section of the forums. Anyhow, the suits in the fake screen don't shout 1940's to me. I see where you are coming from though
Darvinho
I seem to remember reading somewhere on this forum recently that it is generally believe that the first fake screen shot we saw was actually an early screen of L.A. Noire. So yeah, you're pretty much right.
Snake Without a Tongue
The lights look the same, but everything else is rather different. Sky is kind of similar.
White Flight
I don't think they have anything to do with each other.. or maybe they do anyway, who really cares?
-/TNT\-
That must've been a screenshot of LA Noire back then. Rockstar tricked us
PyroHazard
It can't be it. The first fake screen was rendered after a street and it's accompied building located somewhere in Spain. As many of you know, LA Noire is set in Los Angeles (or Los Santos for you overimaginative people...). I highly doubt the two have any direct correlation. Slim Trashman
That's a good theory you've got there. The screen very well may be from L.A. Noire.
uNi
Doesn't even look related. Edited January 25, 2007 by uni
DexX
The first fake screen was rendered after a street and it's accompied building located somewhere in Spain. As many of you know, LA Noire is set in Los Angeles (or Los Santos for you overimaginative people...). The lights and the sky bear some similarity, and the models in the first image (released) are low-detailed enough to be game models. it might simply be a test scene they did, if its related at all. although this should go into the gta4 section of the forums um....no, its not gta4 related. Its related to L.A. Noire. moved back to gaming.
