Justin Posted January 26, 2007 Share Posted January 26, 2007 k... I mean, almost 100% of the time this error is because you've not got an original copy of the game. It's not fixable if this is the case, so you really should go out and buy it. Sorry for harping on, but I've only got your word on this and I'd hate to be wasting my time with someone who's just too cheap to go and spend a few dollars on an old game. If you're in the clear, try disabling emulation software such as Daemon Tools, Clone CD, etc. Topic title edited to better reflect contents. guitarfreak971 Posted January 26, 2007 Author Share Posted January 26, 2007 dude no i have an original copy... i just got it used off amazon like 2 days ago... my computer doesnt even read the disk, whenever i try to open the D drive it says its not accessible, and yes i did actually try to download a no cd crack, but even when i do that i get a message after the opening credits saing "insert GTA Vice city into drive or press ESC to exit" rrrrgggg its so frustrating.
