I dont think it's a good idea to remove it from the registry as it could complicates things between any app's that are link to it and also theirs a Security Update from Microsoft Windows patch"MS04-032" that deals with this exact module on security issues so it's probadly linked together too. That's only if you have this patch install. I would just leave it alone if it is not causing any indirect problems with your computer. source This link is just for reference about the MS patch. Brutuz Posted January 25, 2007 Share Posted January 25, 2007 Try seeing if it comes up as bad in a Hijackthis Scan, then you probably should use the computer like normal for a week or something, and if anything weird happens, deleting that is the second thing to do (In one scenario), the first being scanning like all heck.
