gillies
Tanks have four wheel steering like the monster truck, if you hold down the hand brake it can make sharper turns without slowing down so much but if you drive around holding the hand brake down it can't go as fast. Benjimino234
i didn't know that
Fear Factor
Yeah, Exactly. But it's much better drifting with 4-Wheel Steering.
gillies
Presuming we are using the same definition of "drifting" you probably aren't drifting if using four wheel steering, as far as I can tell the point of it is to avoid having the car sliding around when making turns. /topic. Hayden2
I can't even drift in a sedan let alone a tank! Sounds like fun though, must try it sometime.
Fear Factor
Ben : Tanks are wayy better and funner then cars. Hayden : You should practice drifting, it's really fun. But in tanks, you will find it much easier, and in a monster truck as well, trust me.
Vert
do all your cornering with hand brake, but keep accelarating the whole time, it's much funnier and gets easy after time, find a vehicle you like and try to perfect it for that vehicle then try others. good cars to drift are infernus! firetruck, police car bobcat, skyline, subaru ambulance, the multicoloured paneled car (sorta looks like an old chrysler mitsubishi sigma)is also good even tho it looks crap, i guess it's supposed to simulate bald tyres??? etc. practice on the runways multi story carparks are great to drift to the top also try nos. off road drifting is also good, try offroad wheels if you got a sportscar, and cane those hilled corners. personally i don't like the tanks, there big clumsy and pretty much thats all. if you could crush cars, well then it would be a different story. by the way i found a simple way to look thru under the ground anywhere, it's so easy. if your interested on ps2
Ottae
Tanks have four wheel steering like the monster truck, if you hold down the hand brake it can make sharper turns without slowing down so much but if you drive around holding the hand brake down it can't go as fast. I remember you I haven't tried this, I might even edit the handling for it to make it that much better. I remember me and GTAuron edited a Kart's handling so it didn't do anything but drift, I'll mod the tank and get a video for you sometime
Lioshenka
Yeah, Exactly. But it's much better drifting with 4-Wheel Steering. thats much better drifting with 4-star level you get it when you steal a tank i should try it really
Fear Factor
Lio : I've never tried drifting with a 4 - Star level. Lol. Ottae : That sounds really cool Man. I would like to see it if you make one so PM me when you finished it. Vert : Thanks for the tips.
Ottae
Thought I'd share this with you, I gave the tank a bit more speed, and gave it the Elegy's steering and weight. These give you this: Tank Drifting (It's a modded tank model and texture as well)
-/TNT\-
Lol @ Rhino Drift. Now I dare you to try that inside Los Santos at the rush hour The best vehicles for drifting in the game are the Elegy and the Infernus. The Rhino might be good but it's sheer size makes it not fit well in the streets of San Andreas.
Fear Factor
Ottae : That was fully hectic. Thanks for that. TNT : Yeah, but when you make a drift with a tank to go left and you hit a car, the car will explode. Which is fun. Oh. And one time, I was riding with my tank and kept blowing things up, then my tank blew up.
-/TNT\-
TNT : Yeah, but when you make a drift with a tank to go left and you hit a car, the car will explode. Which is fun. While what happens when you go right? Lol, if you know how to use mods I suggest this car for drifting. It is teh awesomness. You might find it a bit difficult to control, this handling line I made is a bit better: URANUS 1300.0 1300.0 5.0 0.0 0.0 -0.1 75 0.50 0.60 0.52 5 300.0 30.0 10.0 4 P 4.0 0.65 0 50.0 0.25 1.0 2.0 0.03 -0.02 0.5 0.0 0.25 0.60 35000 40880004 0540840B 1 1
Fear Factor
Lol, Yea, I was just making an example.
