cybercheese
Hi I've just finished formating my Dell Dimension 4550 (As it was full of junk) and found that the CD i got with it, that includes the drivers, doesn't seem to have the right driver for my sound card? I was wondering if anyone knows what sound card these computers use? PS. I'm pretty sure it's the old 4550??
Fozzy Fozborne
Go here Dell.com Driver Downloads, click on audio, then select your device. (if you don't know your device, look on the back. If your speakers connect directly to the motherboard, then you have the top driver option, if you speakers connect through an expansion slot (below where your monitor plugs into), you have the second option.
