X-Seti Posted January 21, 2007 Share Posted January 21, 2007 The collision file challenge I need help in making COLs for the LODs, these COLs can not be made in the normal way because the names of the COLs don't relate in anyway with their normal dff object counterparts, In Vice City we are used to seeing 'BigArssBuilding01.dff' and the LOD is 'LODArssBuilding01.dff'. However SA has taken this to whole new level, as the LODs don't follow the old VC rules anymore, instead we have 'BigArssBuilding01.dff', this can be come combinations of 'LODBigArssBuilding01.dff', 'BigArssBuilding01_LOD.dff'. 'BIG_LOD_Building01.dff' or even 'ABig01build.dff' Almost all of the LODs from the SA files are like this.. Sucks ahhh, so this means we can't use Steve M's editor to just 'COPY AS LOD', as this will not work. Want to help, and get your names in the credits. 3dsmax Users; I suggest loading in the LOD dff (DFF IO) and making the COL from it using the COL IO. The dff files have been sorted out into groups for the maps, and are accessible on my download server. DOWNLOAD the LOD dff sets Good Luck. . Missing model.dff puzzle in SF south, and the only part of the map thats missing, given all the files that got converted. I can't run MED, so I need help in finding out what this file .dff is? . A coder, and exe hacker to help me finish the VC exe, maybe towards another limit adjuster/ or patch. 2. Some tools to be created that may be useful also to the community, PM me for details. 3. I need a small team of people to help model fix the texture curruption in SA. 4. A team of people to look at SA, and remake some buildings in the style that might be SA stories. 5. Team of people to look at VC, and help me add the changes to complete VC/LC Stories and also make future replacement buildings for both islands. 6.
