Looking for Vehicle Mods

I don't know if this is the right forum for this, so here goes.

 

So here's the thing. I have this crazy idea that with the huge amount of play

I have with GTA:SA, it would be fun for me to replace every single car in the game

with their REAL LIFE counterpart. I realize the kind of cool effect of feeling of living

in a parallel universe with fake brands that almost look like what they're supposed to

be, as well as making it look like they don't repeat as often, but still - if I rip off a

Lamborghini, I want to feel as if I ripped off a Lambo.

 

What I HAVE done:

 

Cabs/Cop cars-->Chevy Caprices

Fortune -->Early 90's Thunderbird

Patriot-->Hummer

Majestic-->1980's Monte Carlo

Tahoma-->Chevy Caprice CLASSIC

Rancher-->1972 Chevrolet Blazer

Remington-->Lincoln Continental Mk IV

Cheetah-->80's-90's Ferrari TR

Super GT/Turismo-->Early 90's Ferrari F40 (both of these SA brands are modelled

after this car, so I'll probably replace one of them with a Lambo)

 

My biggest problem with the majority of vehicle mods available is that the cars that modders are making are NOT era-appropriate. I do not have a total conversation of SA, not yet anyway, so I want to keep it consistent. Rather than driving around in a 2035 era concept Audi (and seeing a few more casually cruising down the street, in 1992).

 

What I'm looking for:

 

* GOOD vehicle download sites that have LOTS of stuff.

* These specific cars if they have been made:

 

-Early 80's Mercedes 300D to replace the Admiral.

-Late 70's Rolls to replace the Stafford.

-The appropriate early 80's Dodge/Chrysler to replace the Greenwood

-Late 80's/Early 90's BMWs **NOT M-CLASSES, JUST STANDARD** to replace

the Elegant and the Vincent

-60's-70's Jaguar E-type to replace the Windsor

-Late 80's Lincoln (it's not the Continental) to replace the Washington

-Early 90's Eclipse/Talon to replace the Uranus

-Early 90's **NOT MID-LATE 90's** Subaru WRX to replace the Sultan

-Early 80's Mercedes 380SL and up to replace the Feltzer

-Late 80's/Early 90's Volkswagen Golf to replace the Club

-Early 90's Honda CRX to replace the Blista Compact

-Early 90's Infiniti to replace the Emperor

-Early 90's Lincoln Stretch to replace the Stretch

-Early 90's Land Rover to replace the Landstalker

-Early 90's Range Rover to replace the Huntley

-Late 70's/Mid 80's Porsche 911 Targa to replace the Comet

-Late 80's/Early 90's Jeep Wrangler to replace the Mesa

-Late 70's El Camino to replace the Picador

-Early 90's Saturn SL Station Wagon to replace the Stratum

 

As well as accurate conversions for these in-game brands: Banshee, Blade,

Bravura, Buffalo, Cadrona, Clover, Elegy, Esperanto, Flash, Glendale, Hermes,

Intruder, Jester, Manana, Merit, Nebula, Perennial, Phoenix (can't tell if it's a Stingray

or an old Firebird--even though Phoenix MEANS firebird, but whatever), Regina, Romero, Saber, Savanna, Sentinel, Slamvan, Solair, Stallion, Sunrise (thinking about a Saab for this one), Tornado, Virgo, Voodoo, Willard

 

I would really appreciate any good leads on finding these cars on the web to put

in my game.

Everyone, well almost everyone, has thought of this.

 

Now I didn't read every word of your post but I'm sure you want people to go and find these for you. That's not gonna happen. I'd say pop up google, type in something like "gta san andreas [insert car name you want here]"

Boom, if it's been made you'll find it in the first few links. It shouldn't be that hard.

Yeah I've tried various methods. The cars I've listed are the ones I'm clearly missing

and cannot find. If anyone comes up with *boom - saw it at such-and-such* I'll pop

over and get it. There are a lot of lesser known sites out there where something like

this is likely to happen

this might be a bit late, but i have also tried to find the exact real life counterparts...

most of them have not been made, and or the ones that have are really poor quality and not worth looking at,

so..., i have one suggestion to you, you could look for good modellers like JvT and request or ask them to make you this car. i really doubt they will but hey theres no harm in asking
