San Andreas There's no firetruck

Hi, I recently started a new game. The last mission that I've completed is Ryder. I've been basically getting all of my skills up. I've recently noticed that when theres a fire, no firetruck comes to put it out. Also when I pass by the firestation there's no firetruck. I've drove past it many times and it never appears. I really want to do the firetruck mission. Please help. Thanks, Stu

 

edit: The firetruck has now appeard at the firestation but they still dont come to put out fires. I also noticed that no ambulances come when someone dies. Is this normal?

Unless it interferes with your gameplay in any way, you needn't worry about these "absence" of emergency vehicles.I believe that is temporary.

They come and go. No apparent reason.

As game progress' they become more frequently.

I have noticed that they only appear early in the game if you blow up more than 3 cars. Otherwise I guess that LSFD like to be lazy and leave it for the rain to put it out.

This is very true on the PS2 version, but is a different story on the PC a the emergency services appear regulaly. But while playing the PS2 version in the past i have noticed that the Firefighters and Ambulances are slim in Los Santos, but the numbers of these increase in San Fierro and Las Venturas.
