88survivor
Hey, Face Value is a great album... That song was featured in Risky Business that featured the train scenes(Tom Cruise and Rebecca DeMornay) and of course, the pilot episode of Miami Vice with Tubbs and Crockette driving at night. GTA3Freak-2001
Yes. But i think the new one is even better . What that punk version by Nonpoint? I thought it was terrible, why couldn't they of done some sort of remix of the original for Miami Vice? Wouldn't of been so bad, still the original is always the best. Knowledge Novice
Personally I was never that into Phil, but there were some of his songs that caught my ear. And I actually liked the Nonpoint version. I believe that's the first I've heard of their music, but I thought it was cool to hear an old favorite souped up a bit. I have to agree though that the original was the best. 'Miami Vice' Long live the '80's.
88survivor
Shhhiz. I'm more dated than you think. I like every 80s song there was. Including the remakes that happened that in the 80s.
RDK9390
yeah, there's some really good remixes of that song... 2Pac has one where the beat is remixed, hook is the same, and he has like 3 verses...but also I did like the Nonpoint one thought it was really well done
spectre01
the song you hear on radio (of course in the game) is the Face Value verison. the other one you hear during that mission is a live verison, so it's a little different.
Rashon.
I didn't actually notice the concert and radio versions were different. I just thought going to the concert would be an alternative instead of waiting all day for "In The Air Tonight" to be on Emotion 98.3.
88survivor
They have three Phil Collins tracks on VCS...so that will tell you something. Genesis- Turn It Off, Phil Collins/ Phillip Bailey- Easy Lover, and of course, Phil Collins- In The Air Tonight.
