M&Ms
In IPLs how are the car id's (vehicle ids in vehicles.ide which are 400-799) chosen? For example, in the binary ipl countn2_stream0.ipl the first vehicle placement is this... -166.00400, 1013.29999, 18.79200, 314.16, -1, -1, -1, 0, 0, 0, -1, -1 The -1 in bold is the vehicle id. Now -1 means select a random vehicle, BUT this isn't any random vehicle as only particular vehicle classes of vehicles show up in given areas. Soooo, my question is how is the vehicle id chosen? Is there a list of possible vehicle id's per binary IPL? At a guess there is a hardcoded list somewhere of possible vehicle id's per binary IPL. aad
THe -1 is indeed a random vehicle selection number, if you change it to the numbers that are in the vehicle.ide file you will see numbers like 300 , 320 etc are listed there by removing the -1 and typing there the number found in the vehicle id you will see that the number you have chosen will be the vehicle listed in the vehicles.ide file. Good luck Aad. Dont imitate, recreate or copy just get your own ideas.
