BroDan
So I got myself a nice new laptop that's widescreen. Native resolution is 1280*800 which is crisp and sexy and all that. Problem is GTA2 only goes to 1024*768 in the main options (I know it CAN go higher than this but mine isn't displaying higher?) so it's stretched in-game and makes it look poo. I can't find a config file anywhere in the folders to customise it and a google search hasn't helped. Anyone got any ideas on whether it's possible to whack the resolution higher? Cheers. Sektor
I haven't found a way to run GTA2 in 1280x800. I tried editing the resolution setting in the registry but it just goes to 640x480. I can use custom resolutions if I run the game in a Window but I prefer to play it at 1024x768 with blackbars on the sides. You can tell your display drivers not to stretch by going to display properties > Settings > Advanced > Displays If you have an ATI chipset then it should be: > Panel > Scale image > Expand while maintaining aspect ratio.
