TheDude5000
I accidentally disabled something useful again. There's this feature that when you press your mouse wheel/button, the model dissapears and you see a transparent box in it's place. This allows you to see usually hard to see things inside the model, such as dummies. It also allows you to rotate your models better, because if you click this wheel, you can see if the transparent boxs' lines are even, meaning the objects rotation is not out of skew or whatever. How do you re-enable this feature?

Mercie
When you press down the middle button, Max is ready to pan. That said, the feature you speak of is probably not a feature, rather a way for your PC to pan without going nuts on you. Panning complex models can be very strenuous on Max (note one fram every 8 seconds), so I believe Max did this instancing on its own with some complicated objects; for itself, not you Let me know if someone finds a way. But between no one having an answer to this and the actual function of the mousewheel button, I believe this to be pretty close to the truth. REspawn
Hit the letter o in the viewport you want this turned on, hit it again to turn it off. That letter o as in orange not zero. This changes the objects in the viewport to there bounding objects when moving the view around.
