KollarGTAMF
I'm getting an xbox 360 and was wondering if anyone makes a PS2 style controller FOR the 360... I've been playing PS for YEARS (all i've ever played) and dont want to combine the learning curve of news games WITH the learning curve of a new controller. If there is such a thing, is it easy to get? and where could I get it. Sly_Madman
You're still rockin' the old school Takeaway Co. sig? Jesus. Anyway, on to your question. I've been playing Playstation for years until this generation when I decided to switch up to 360. It took me, literally, about 5 minutes to figure out the buttons, then I was good. It's not too different from Sony, 4 shoulder buttons, 4 face buttons on the right mapped identically to the PS, start and select are essentially in the same spot, the only thing different is instead of a D Pad on the left, it's an analog stick (which I find quite fitting anyway). Plus, you can't get a 3rd party wireless controller, but if you really want a Playstation controller, I could do some google searching and see what I turn up... Star-Lord
This site has what you are looking for. Plus more off the hook items for the Xbox360. MaxConsole I hoping that it is only an adapter and that nothing else is needed. Brutuz
I can use Xbox controllers pretty well and I have never owned one, but that PS2 to 360 adapter is looking pretty buyable Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/265390-stupid-controller-question/#findComment-4017874 Share on other sites

GTA3Freak-2001
Trust me you'll fall in love with the 360's new controller, I had always preferred the Dual-shock even when I had the original Xbox with the S-Controller but once I got a 360 I totally forgot about the dual-shock. beanmachine43
I've always that the Xbox controller had the better layout, especially for a FPS. The bumers added to the top just like the L1 and R1 buttons on the PS2 really was a great move. But once you spend a lot of time with a console and its controller, this type of thing can really help you out. GritSandWiches4Breakfest
Never heard of one, but ps2 or ps3 controller would be better if you could find one. TenaciousD.
Pretty sure you'll have no real problem, they all have the same basic of analouge sticks and buttons in roughly the same place. TKC fo life' I miss it so Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/265390-stupid-controller-question/#findComment-4018575 Share on other sites
GTA3Freak-2001
Just thought of something, Tony Hawk games I have to say are always better with a Dual-shock controller. I don't mind even Project 8 on 360 but I've felt more comfortable with the dual-shock. This is probably because I prefer to use the d-pad for movement over the analog and on a 360 controller that's uncomfortable due to the positioning of the d-pad. That adapter thing looks pretty tempting, since it kinda kills two birds with the one stone. Even though most games on 360 wouldn't even work correctly with a keyboard and mouse its still nice for messaging and stuff. On that note I hope Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars will support a mouse at least, my PC won't run C&C3 so 360 is my only option you see.
