Ghostbusters Game

Its not known whether its legit or if there is any concrete details on it, but this site has a couple of videos showing running and it looks very good running.

 

Personally I would love a Ghostbusters game having been a fan as a kid and it has potential to be one of the best FPS ever made.

There is a Ghostbusters game. Of course it's on the NES, and the only way to get it is on ebay.

I used to play Ghostbusters on the old Spectrum 48k

It may not be just a Mod for GoW, it could just be running off of the engine. The artwork on that website is quite exciting... Hmm the Ecto-2... Modified Chrysler.

you know what this may also point towards if its legitimate? Ghostbusters 3, as in... A New Movie. (thats wishful thinking I know, but my god I'd love to see it!)

I remember there was a Ghostbuster game on the old Sega Megadrive that I used to play. Played it again recently through emulator to bring back the memories.

 

If that's real then I hope it gets finished. It looks so awesome.

Wow, way to sh*t all over a series. And, yeah, it looks like a gay rip-off of gears. I was impressed when I was under the impression that it was a fan-made mod. Now I hope Zootfly gets shut down.

I still think its interesting what they've done with the original material, you know bringing it into the modern world but I do know what you mean about how its never going to compare to the original(s).

 

I also agree that it looks too much like a mod, it doesn't seem to deliver what you'd expect from a commercial game even one that uses the Gears of War game engine.

Yeah, I agree with this. Just the running around, grabbing ghosts in the exact same way, the crappy light smashing which I thought was terrible.

On second look, it is pretty sh*tty. but, its still in development. (if it they sort the legal issues!)

It's not the GoW game engine. It's the Unreal 3 engine. GoW was simply the 1st game to make use of it because Epic made it.

 

Call of Duty 3 uses the same engine. Any 3rd person game now will bear similarities to GoW if it uses the Unreal 3 engine, it can't be helped

Oh snaps you're right, totally forgot it used that. So lets rephrase that, this Ghostbuster's game is based on the Gears of War version of the Unreal 3 engine.

This game looks pretty awsome, lets just hope they can get the license's so they can proceed with the game. Also their in the middle of making a game very similar to ghostbusters, i read it somewhere.
