Though, the job does help out no!? lo haha the computer screens i have had forever, the CRT was $1750, basically the cheapest large HDTV i could buy at the time, it has turned out great because the tv has amazing black levels, black enhancement, edge enhancement, and it just makes games look great. the plasma i got for 1300 CAD(like, 1100 US) on boxing day. basically, with the limited ammount of time i have, i want to get the best out of it. no more either playing games or watching tv/movies or doin the internet/messenger thing. each function has its own screen, and my time is used to its fullest Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The mod you did was shown on kotaku a few months back, and it looked real nice. Basically, you buy car spray paint thats meant to dye the plastic parts of the car, and you use it on the 360, controller and all. One or two coats later and you've got yourself a nice xbox indeed. Though CRTs are a dream for working on pro programs, and have better resolutions at smaller sizes, I would still have a LCD to use for the gaming. I can stand using my 19in IBM G76 CRT anymore @1600x1200 as opposed to my new LCD which is 22in Acer Widescreen LCD @ 1680x1050. Still a sweet setup you got there. And remember guys, having a job means you have money, more than your allowance or money you make shoveling snow off of driveways, thus meaning he can afford to invest in Next gen much faster than you guys can. I can stand using my 19in IBM G76 CRT anymore @1600x1200 as opposed to my new LCD which is 22in Acer Widescreen LCD @ 1680x1050. 4 words: response time black levels. on boxing day, i was looking at a 37" LG lcd, and next to a plasma it looked washed out. the best "gaming" tvs are still CRTs. i have the space, so i went with the CRT proj. the difference between black on screen and off is unnoticeable, and with the distance i sit(5 feet ) the edge enhnacement of the hitachi is just magnificent total anihliation on a big-screen tv = omggtfothatkickssomuchass Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
