TheDude5000
Well I said more Transformers mods were on the way, and I wasn't lying. This is a conversion of a 3DS mesh into VC format. The ReadMe included with the mesh states that the model can be used for anything, hosted anywhere, etc. [Copyright Information]You can use this model all you want, put it up for download, ect.. All I ask is ya give me credit The model was created by Ziroc, from TGEW. Soundwave, from Transformers Generation 1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soundwave_%28Transformers%29 One of Megatron's most loyal soldiers, Soundwave is fighting with the Decepticons to rid the planet of the Autobot's. He ejects other soldiers, in the form of cassettes, from his chest. Credits: Original Model-Ziroc Conversion-TheDude5k Texturing-TheDude5k Object placement-TheDude5k New hands models-Rebel I'm having a bit of a problem with my VC install, I can't add any new .ide's, so that's why you don't see his hands in the images. Also, I just don't know where to place him. I will take recommendations from other users for places I can put Soundwave. I haven't released many mods lately, so I'm a bit nervous with this whole project, so try not to rush me or anything. I'm trying to take my time here and get everything right. As soon as I overcome these issues, I will release this mod. Comments/feedback would be appreciated, and if someone could help with my .ide problem(more detailed topic: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=265227) you guys can get this mod a lot faster lol. ParoXum
Is that a map ? Else it must be into Skin forum.
TheDude5000
It's not a player skin/model, it's a map object. Almost like a statue, so I think it's just fine where it is. Oh, and do you have any actual comments/feedback for the mod, or are you just here to try and tell me where to post? TheDude5000
Can I get some feedback? Requests for where to place it? Or will the SFDR continue?
gnrrocks
this seems to be the right place, if your just making it a bunch of statues everywhere. keep working on them, they look good, just dont have nearly enough detail yet. but thats why its a wip ehh
TheDude5000
this seems to be the right place, if your just making it a bunch of statues everywhere. keep working on them, they look good, just dont have nearly enough detail yet. but thats why its a wip ehh No, no, no. This is a Transformer. It's not a generic object that I'm going to duplicate around the city. It looks like a statue, it's not necessarily a statue. I want to place it in one place. About the detail, have you seen the original show? This isn't some post-2000 Gundam design with like thousands of parts and gears and circuits and what not. This is how he looked in the show. But if you have advice on how to make him more "detailed" but without going over the edge like above-mentioned anime show, feel free to share. But I kinda wonder why I'm even wasting my time with this. Everyone seems only interested in TC projects(half of which are never even finished, and half of which are half-baked attempts to combine LC, VC, and SA), you try something as small as this and virtually noone responds. And if they do respond, it's probably some guy trying to tell you where to post, without actually giving feedback on the mod.
TheDude5000
Duder speaks in Frank Costanza's voice You want more detail? You got it! I added a Decepticon Logo to the right shoulder, retextured his chest/cassette area to include LaserBeak, and also got his hands in-game(well, still working on the right hand). I'll be adding more and more to the model, it'll look a lot more complex in a few days. More images on the way. Blackadder.
Maybe you could put textures on the body, instead of Matte colours, at the moment, it looks plain, like the cartoons and all that had shading and texture, maybe a metal sort of texture would look nice
ceedj
It's missing two points that I can think of by just looking at it: the shoulder cannon and a small eject button on the oppisite side. Anyway, looking great! I'm actually not against democracy though. I'm against things I think are f*cking stupid. I think this is f*cking stupid. - Sweets
