[WIP|SCR] GTA: Back to the Future

Recommended Posts

The speedometer with a dot at right matches the ones showed in your latest videos, so I suppose you're actually trying it on 0.2d. Things like that (or nothing at all) are prone to happen unless you're using original 0.2c script. As I said in PM about variables being reassigned to other memory locations.

Anyway, I made another version. Reason: incorrect leap year calculation when year < 1000.

Hi guys. I'm 88mph. Delorean already knows me coz i'm a member of the GTA BTTF :Hill Valley forum. I've the original 0.2c script and that screenshot shows what happened to me: how can this problem be fixed? I entered 111219551234 as i used to do with the Mytime emulator. And that is the result. The month seems to be missed, also the last time departed date is incorrect. I'm currently downloading the latest version. I'll let you know if it works.

Alright, I just forgot about GTAVC 1.1, but even if I add support for it, it wouldn't fix this problem for 88mph. I was trying to sort the problem out with him through MSN, and I found out that apparently he has a third version of GTAVC. Let's say X is the address where the year is stored in GTAVC 1.0. In 1.1, the corresponding address is X + 8. In 88mph's, it's X - 4.

We are still sorting things out. Once it's done, I'll post a new version with support for GTAVC 1.1 and whatever version 88mph has.

Weird thing is, I installed the mod before installing VC (I know, I know, I'm not meant to do that, but I did, so how and ever) but when I installed VC afterwards, it automatically got modded. So do you still think if I uninstall VC, it will uninstall the mod too?

You don't need to "install" it, just extract the RAR file somewhere. Launch the keypad, then launch GTAVC. In order to input anything, you must be inside a time machine with time circuits on. The rest is on the readme. It shouldn't be hard to figure out.

I made some changes in that part of the readme for version 1.0.3: the time circuits display must be showing on screen in order to input anything (I hope it's clearer now). Support for GTAVC 1.1 has been added. Each number has its own sound now (thanks to 88mph for sending me time circuit emulators). This should be the last version until 0.2d comes out.

I worked with 88mph and I still didn't figure out what's going on his side. I gathered info from memory dumps sent by him and now he uses a special version of BTTF Keypad.

EDIT: Looks like I finally found out what's happening with 88mph.
