gamer3000
Okay here is my peroblem, I am trying to install the 1981 Delorean. And I don't want it to take the place of the Deluxo. I want to be able to drive it around without waiting. But i am trying to "erase" another car and now the game won't work. Am I stuck with waiting? HEEEEELP!!! Picolini
1. Do you mean replace? If so go to #2. If you do mean erase, go to #3. 2. Then make sure you replaced all of the lines exactly. I don't mod VC so I'm not sure exactly how to do it. But make sure you replaced the default.ide, as well as handling and .dff and .txd file. Also the .col if included. 3. I don't mod VC at all, so I wouldn't know about erasing vehicles to do put in another. I think you might mean just adding then, which is different and I still don't know how to do that. Hope that helps... if you can get it to work, replace the files with the original ones. If you didn't make back ups, you have officially learned the hard way that you need to always make back up copies of the files. We've all done it, don't feel too stupid Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/265222-sos-cant-seem-to-install-mod/#findComment-4015583 Share on other sites
92F
Not quite sure I know what you mean about erasing. Anywho, follow what picolini said to the word. You also need to make sure that the delorean model replaces a 2 door car model otherwise it'll crash. To start with, just install the .dff and .txd and check if its works. Then the handling line, check it ingame, then the default line, check ingame and so on till everything is installed. If the game crashed after adding one of the above, you'll know what is giving you trouble and not to install it the next time.
