Fraps alternative

Hi all

 

Since there are many programs which can record screen activities (or just plainly "Screen Recorder", my favorite: CamStudio (Free)), there aren't much programs which can record....well...say; frame screens (meaning that it will record screen activities which uses frames, games for example).

 

One popular tool for gamers is Fraps:

Fraps.

The "downside" of this program, is that if you choose not to pay for the program, you will get watermark in your movie.

Not that is disturbing or so, but well... some don't like it.

 

There is a good alternative (?, thats where I want you to write a review of this program ).

It goes under the name of Taksi and it is a SF (SourceForge)project.

You can get it for Windows too, assumed that you will use that OS since there aren't many 3d games for the Unix systems.

 

It is a well worked out project, meaning that there are many options you can change.

Hopefully it won't crash my PC like Fraps and Gamecam...testing now..

 

EDIT: Doesn't seem to work with SA...so it's rather useless.

I have FRAPS fully, so im alright.

 

But i find FRAPS alot easier then any others i tried.
