Chainsaw mission

So i am playing the new ps2 gta, and i stumple upon one of the stupidest , most bland and unoriginal mission i have ever played. Which is dissapointing considering how good the ones in GTA III were. I have tried all of the the suggestions on this site, however, i still fail this mission, being a GTA player for years. There are several things that stop me from passing this:

 

1. Slow reaction time- It takes Tony (in my game) about a second to turn around in a position so i can properly aim at any of them (which is not long enough). This doesnt give me enough time, because once i fire the reaction time is about the same. And in that amount of time they're all on me. The character of tony is also incredibly slow, even when "sprinting"

 

2. Increasing numbers- Many walkthroughs have stated that here are ten mafia henchmen. In my game, they never seem to cease. They come pouring out in numbers, i have seen about 10-15 on my screen at a time, and they can easily match my speed.

 

 

There must be some easier way to pass this. Any help would be apprecieated. Thanks.

I also play the ps2 version, and this mission does take a few tries to pass, it took me like 25 tries to pass it. The best weapon to use is the .357 handgun-it has one hit kills, it will be easier if you do the paramedic side mission first, that way you have unlimited sprint. run around the room, and every chance you get turn take a shot and immediately take off running-rinse and repeat until all the hench men are gone (may take a while due to the number of them and the fact of being in a small room). Always make sure to hae full armor/health before starting mission-it will make it a lot easier. If you are still haveing problems, post a snp and one of the helpers will pass the mission for you. hope this helps.

Sprint, stop, turn around, shoot at a guy for half a second, continue running.

 

I found the end of the mission much harder than that part.

Don't sprint its slow,

If you jump you will find you can get away from them mutch faster

so jump a few times away from them turn around and Blast their asses

Yeah, I also noticed that if you jump, it will give you and extra boost. Just jump away from everyone and then shoot them with your gun, a Colt Python (.357) can be found on the ship on the way in. Just check the sides.

 

The only problem with that gun is that after you shoot, it takes a long time for him to start moving again, and can lead them to catch you if he is not quick enough. An M4 or an AK-47 also works for this mission, with no stoppages.

 

If you shoot enough guys at a time, there should never be 10-15 guys on the screen at once. That only happens in the side mission that appears after you complete that mission. It's crazy!

 

Another way is to complete the Firefighter missions and become fireproof, then stand in the bottom-left corner of the room (no evil guys come out that door) and either throw molotoves or use a flamethrower.

I didn't find this mission too hard actually. I got the armour and health before going there and used a good weapon (I think it was the .357). All you have to do is run in circles, turn shoot once or twice and repeat.

 

If you're smart you can run in a pattern so that they get caught behind the crates and other objects there. This will slow them down a bit so you can pick off one or two before they start gaining on you again.

Thanks you guys inspired me for this mission. I think it is 10 out 10 in the tough mission and I have finnished them all. Best video game ever.

i played with the machine gun from the amu nation twice n then i used the shot gun n got it on my first try
