How to backup saved game

Recommended Posts

My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files. Save files are in the format GTASAsfX.b where X is a numeral 1-8, corresponding to that save's position (i.e. slot one is GTASAsf1.b.

The easiest thing to do is to backup the entire User Files folder, but delete the gta_sa.set file in case your config changes and thus a new settings file needs to be created.

for making regular back-up of each missions, use this tool "GTA SA SF"

Description:

Here is a very interesting tool that allows you to check up on your saved games in GTA: San Andreas. This can identify files automatically, as well as back them up to a back up folder as well as numbering the saved games properly when you export them back to the saved gamesGTA: SA User Files folder.
