Grand Theft Auto: Zero Hour

 

Shawn Hunter, a trusted Leone hitman and mobster. When he was born his mother died giving birth to him and his father abandoned him and put him up for adoption without even giving him a name. Shawn endured a life of pain and suffering from his abusive foster parents. One day all the rage built up inside him exploded when he murdered his foster parents at the age of 14. Shawn managed to escape from prison a year later and was found by the former Leone do, Salvatore Leone. Shawn then spent 5 years working for Joey Leone in the car theft business, thus gaining Joey's respect in the process. He was later promoted to a hitman status by Salvatore, but before his first hit Slavatore was killed by Claude Speed in 2001. Now in the year 2005 a now 24 year old Shawn still works for the Leones, until disaster strikes forcing Shawn onto a rocky rollercoaster adventure where he uncovers more about his past, parents, and the near future. Along the way he makes some new friends as he ventures through the country to regain his former glory and to be the man he always wanted to be, but dangers lies ahead of Shawn and he must be prepared to face the world.

Chapter 1: A Hunter's Beginning

 

Joey's Mansion, 4:46 p.m.

 

A Leone Sentinal pulls up in front of Joey's Mansion and Shawn Hunter comes out with a briefcase and goes into the trunk and pulls out a dead body of a man. Shawn Knocks on the door awaiting an answer.

 

Shawn: Yo Joey its me Shawn open up. My hands are full.

 

Joey: Alright, alright. *Unlocks the door and opens it* Shawn, good to see you this soon. So did you iced that traitor and took his money?

 

Shawn: All right here. *Shows Joey the briefcase full of money and drags in the dead body of the deceased mobster* I'm sure you approve of this.

 

Joey: Well done Shawn. Well done. I am really impressed on your performances lately. You might be a capo one day kid I assure you that.

 

Shawn: Speakin' of capos where is Toni?

 

Joey: Down by Marco's Bistro. Why do you ask?

 

Shawn: Cause I betted him 10000 bucks if I iced this guy and now its time for him to cash in the money. What do you want me to do with this poor sap's body Joey?

 

Joey: Throw it in the dumpster out back. Rubbish day is tomorrow.

 

Shawn: Aiight. *Drags the body to the back by the dumpster* $hit this guys freakin' heavy! *Picks up and throws the body in the dumpster and shuts the door on it.* Now thats done its time for Toni to show me the money. *Enters his Sentinal and speeds off*

 

Marco's Bistro, 5:13 p.m.

 

Toni is eating spaghetti with Luigi and Micky Hamfists. They are discussing something about Shawn.

 

Luigi: So, you betted the kid 10k?! Toni, what makes you think you'll win this huh? The kid hasn't failed a hit since his first day on the job. I mean he even managed to ice that backstabbing motherf*cker Claude! Ya gotta admit that was impressive.

 

Mickey: I never thought that kid would ever kill Claude. I mean you never even Toni couldn't kill that bastard. *Sees Toni giving him an angry look* Uh...sorry.

 

Toni: If I was younger and in better shape like how I was in 98' I woulda kill that @$$hole in a snap. But good things couldn't last forever. I betted that kid 10 grand because I have a plan to have him lose his spot for good. I mean come on this kid has literally replaced us all of our rankings and positions. Whenever a hit or job needs to be done guess who Joey calls? That rookie! I am the main capo around here and I ain't lettin' a rookie take that position away from me, no sir!

 

Luigi: You're right Toni. That kid has replaced us all since he killed Claude, but I need to know one thing. How do you plan on doing this with Joey always goin' gaga over the kid?! He never calls us to do jobs anymore. Joey likes the kid.

 

Mickey: Yeah. Joey would never put Hunter down that quick.

 

Toni: Thats part one of my plan. Getting Joey to hate Hunter's guts, but how am I gonna do that?! Luigi thats why I called you over here. I need you to help me come up with one good plan. I need a way to get Joey against the kid. Luigi, did you come up with somethin'?

 

Luigi: *Thinking hard about one good plan* Ah.... I can't come up with anything. Its gonna be hard to get Joey against him.

 

Mickey: How bout we set somethin' up for both of em'.

 

Toni: What do you mean by that Mickey?

 

Mickey: I mean how bout we set that kid up to a mission. We pretend we were told that Joey told us to tell Hunter a hit he must complete.

 

Toni: I'm actually intrigued by this. Go on Mickey.

 

Mickey: We give Hunter the mission to assasinate someone close to Joey and once the kid comes back with the body, which he always does. Joey sees the body and comes pissed at em'.

 

Toni: That, that plan is..... f*ckin' brilliant! To think I almost never invited you over here for lunch. Now we need to plan the exact time to put this plan into action. Luigi, when do you think we should put this plan into action my friend?

 

Luigi: I was thinking maybe in two weeks. I mean we need to find the perfect person for Hunter to assassinate and how to do it.

 

Toni: Two weeks it is then.

 

Mickey: Soon that punk will no longer be in our hair and we shall finally resume back into our positions in the gang. Joey will treat us with respect again!

 

Toni: Who said anything bout' gettin' back respect?! I want revenge!

 

Luigi: Why Toni?!

 

Toni: Cause for 5 years we've put up to this, we've been pushed aside for this rookie. We were in this gang longer than that prick, but Joey still insists on sending him to do our jobs! I want Joey to feel our pain! The pain we felt all these years bein' put aside. I'm thinkin' its time for a new and more deservin' don.

 

Luigi: And who will that be?

 

Toni: Me of course! You two will be promoted to capos. How bout' that boys?

 

Mickey: I can go with that.

 

Luigi: Ah what the hell. I'm in too.

 

Toni: Joey has pushed us aside long enough! Joey will have a taste of his own medicine. Joey will...*Shawn enters the Bistro*

 

Shawn: Show me the money Toni!

 

Toni: Excellent...

Chapter 2: A Secret Lies Within

 

Marco's Bistro, 5:23 p.m.

 

Shawn enters the ABistro and approaches Toni. He has his AK-47 in hand with an M4 in the other. He has a determined look on his face.

 

Shawn: *Starts laughing* Show me the money Toni! *Sits on a chair*

 

Toni: *Digs through his wallet and puls out a couple of hundreds equalling up to 10000 dollars* Yeah, yeah here. *Passes money to Shawn*

 

Shawn: I like the way you do business here Toni *Puts the money in his wallet* So, whats Luigi and Mickey doin' here? Shouldn't they be at Sex Club 7?

 

Luigi: We took off. *Gives Shawn an angry look*

 

Shawn: Okay then. I m ust be headin' off now.

 

Toni: What for Hunter?

 

Shawn: Y'know. Places to go, people to kill. Same routine as always. *Starts to leave the restaurant, but is stopped when Toni calls him back over*

 

Toni: Wait, Hunter!

 

Shawn: What!

 

Toni: I'm gonna let you in on a little secret of ours. Ya wanna know the secret?

 

Shawn: Sure. What is it?

 

Toni: *Starts whispering* I'm plannin' a surprise for Joey. His borthday is comin' up in two weeks and we were thinkin' of throwin' him a surprise party. But unfortunately we don't have enough money to relly pull it off. Thats where you come in kid.

 

Shawn: What do you want me to? Rob a bank?!

 

Toni: Of course not ya idiot! I need you to go to Claude Speed's old apartment down by Hepburn Heights. People has said he had kept a real jackpot in there and that might very well be enough money to throw Joey's surprise party and he can have some cake too. What do you think kid? Are you up to the challenge?

 

Shawn: Just collecting some money?! Geez that is reall killers. This'll be a snap. *Snaps his fingers* I'll be back before you can say Leone. *Exits the restaurant and enters his Leone Sentinal and drives out*

 

Toni: *To Luigi and Mickey* Boys, we got some more plannin' to do.

 

Shawn is speeding though the streets to take to Hepburn and makes it there about 15 minutes later. He takes out and loads both his AK and M4.

 

Claude's Old Apartment, 5:38 p.m.

 

Shawn: So, this is the place huh? Looks like a f*ckin' dump to me. Aiight I just need to collect the damn money and get the hell outta here. *Exits his Sentinal and enters the apartment.

 

Shawn bustes down the door and entersthe apartment. He takes out a duffel bag to put all the money in and starts searching the rooms.

 

Shawn: Where the hell is that jackpot at?! *Suddenly anotherman's voice is heard from the other room*

 

Man: Can you shut the f*ck up! I'm tryin' to sleep here!

 

Shawn: What the hell? *Grips his guns harder and enters the room the voice is coming from. He busts down the door and aims both his guns at the man* Freeze bastard!

 

Man: *Coming out from under a blanket revealing he is an african-american man* Woah! Hold up! Please don't shoot! I'm up, I'm up.

 

Shawn: Gimme one good reason why I shouldn't shoot you. *Cocking the barrel* One good reason.

 

Man: Do you know who I am dawg?!

 

Shawn: Dunno, don't care! That wasn't a good reason.

 

Man: I'm 8-Ball! *Sees Shawn with a blank expression on his face* Y'know the bomb specialist. I own bomb shops all over the country.

 

Shawn: Still no clue. Well then goodbye! *About to shoot, but is stopped again by 8-Ball*

 

8-Ball: I can help you man!

 

Shawn: Help me?! With what?!

 

8-Ball: You're "the" Shawn Hunter are you?!

 

Shawn: Ya better remember it!

 

8-Ball: You also work for the Leones don't you?!

 

Shawn: Yeah, why?

 

8-Ball: I can help you and your gang by making stae of the art bombs. Y'know car bombs, mail bobs. Just name it and it ya get it!

 

Shawn: Hmmm. I might put that to consideration, but don't pull anything funny!

 

8-Ball: Trust me. I won't!

 

Shawn: Now maybe you can help me with somethin' else.

 

8-Ball: Like what?

 

Shawn: My employers told me about a huge stash of money that was in this very apartment, but I checked everything and still no dough!

 

8-Ball: Lemme show ya somethin'. *Leads Shawn to the bathroom*

 

Shawn: Don't you be goin' gay on me "partner".

 

8-Ball: What?! No ya idiot! Theres a secret compartment full of cash in one of these walls. That must be the cash you're lookin' for. Lets see wheres that knob? *Feels the wall and pushes in a title revealing that its a door. It opens and they see a stack full of 100 dollar bills*

 

Shawn: Holy $hit! This is it! Ole' Claude has been keepin' this a secret from us. *Takes out his duffel bag and stuufs all the money inside* There thats it. 8-Ball *Passes phone number* Keep in touch aiight.

 

8-Ball: Yeah sure.

 

Shawn: *Exits the apartment and enters his Sentinal. He speeds off heading back to Marco's Bistro* Toni's gonna be proud.

 

Marco's Bistro, 6:18 p.m.

 

Toni: So we all agree that Misty is the one we should let Hunter kill. This goin' to be all to easy for us boys. Soon we'll rule this city!

 

Luigi: Ya got that right my friend!

 

Mickey: Yeah!

 

Shawn enters the Bistro and goes up to Toni with the duffel bag full of cash.

 

Toni: So show me the money kid!

 

Shawn: Here. *Passes Toni the bag* You should be please Toni.

 

Toni: Yes indeed my chum. Come back later on. I'm gonna need somethin' else, capiche.

 

Shawn: Yeah sure. *Exits the Bistro and heads to his car*

 

Shawn approaches his car, but as when he was about 10 feet away the Sentinal explodes into pieces. Also blowing Shawn a couple feet back. Toni, Luigi and Mickey notices this from inside the Bistro and heads out to aid Shawn.

 

Toni: What happened here kid?!

 

Shawn: I dunno. My car suddenly exploded outta nowhere.

 

Luigi: We need to take you the hospital. You look pretty banged up kid. *Picks phone and calls 911*

 

In the far distance in an alleyway. A dark figure is peering over looking at the destruction.

 

Dark Figure: This is just phase one. Soon, ZomboTech shall reign supreme and we shall take over the country by storm. Starting with Liberty City.

There's some small errors, but nice job on the story so far.

 

To help with spelling & grammar, you should first type the chapter in MS Word because it should tell you whether or not a word is spelled correctly. You can keep the slang though.
