Something to rant about...

When i woke up today, my mom said that my math periods grade was 2, meaning F in some countries. That just makes me mad, sad and angry all the same time... Everything for me just goes wrong. A dear girl i really love just says she wants to be friends...nobody really cares for me and gives attention. Seems like im the forever alone meme sometimes.

Agreed. Its just an excuse for there f*cking laziness and inability to be organized. It's fair enough when it happens one year, but you learn from that and prepare.

Oh, and don't get me started on TV nowadays. All I can ever find that I'm interested in is on Adult Swim, or SyFy, but with Syfy turning into the wrestling channel, the only reason to keep Cable is so I can catch Holiday specials, or the occasional airing of shows that I used to watch. (At least Netflix is here to comfort me.)

Keep cable for two channels:

 

FX - It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Sons Of Anarchy

AMC - Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Walking Dead

 

Those two networks are worth the price of cable service all by themselves, just for those five shows.

Don't forget, HBO.

 

HBO is not part of standard cable, and costs a lot of money. I'm not paying $20/month for one network- I will just download their programs.

Hey, it would be fine if she just kept her big head on her own network, but I'm still seeing her big face where it shouldn't be.

 

I have never seen a more self centered human being. Well, maybe not one who tries so hard to play it off that they aren't. Even her stupid magazine (that I have to see while waiting in line at the super market) has her big face on it...and only ever her big face. Who the f*ck puts out a magazine and feels they should always be on the cover? Someone who thinks that they are just great, wonderful, and needs to be seen by all.

I despise dubstep too, but I also respect it. Because it's new and it might sound crazy now but that's what people thought of rock bands and now look at the genre. Music, along with everything else, can't progress without new and weird things. In a few years you'll probably think of it differently. It really does suck though!

I hate to break it to those who are "new". Corporate music is dead. Not dead as in it won't sell. Dead as in it has no soul. It died around 1997. There has been some good music from them since then. But for the most part they have run the gamut on what they can produce without going retro. When was the last Nirvana type band or group you can think of that revolutionized the industry? Lady Gaga? Justin Bieber? I rest my case.

Developers have now been taking the piss for years, and its only going to get worse. I cant and wont understand anyone who is for DLC. Why spend the extra money when you dont need to. If everyone just made a stand you would save a sh*t load of cash and keep your money out of the greedy companies pockets. DLC that is released the same exact day is inexcusable. Inexcuable!! I challenge you to make an argument for it.

 

I can afford it, but i refuse a lot of the time (Unless its DLC that has released 6 months or more after the games release that has actually had effort put into it.. like Gta IV, Fallout 3 etc.

 

And anyone who uses the argument "If you dont like it dont buy it" is a moron. Its not that i dont like it, its that i actually have a brain and dont throw around my cash when i should not have to. You buying it, is only adding to the problem and restricting me access to it.

Yeah, the DLC thing is becoming a joke now. I think it has the potential to be used respectfully to provide great things by gaming companies, like the EFLC for GTA 4. That was just amazing DLC, combined it was like a new game. But then other companies just take advantage of it, like the SR3 DLC, almost £5 for some f*cking costumes!

 

Then combine that with the fact that most DLC is simply an unlock code for content already on your disk and you have youreslf a cash machine in the eyes of developers.

Well you got to admit people like Skrillex and Nero pretty much changed what people are listening right now whether you like it or not. Besides, with internet there is not going to be Zeppelin type stadion bands since people have more music to choose from.

I am not saying I am in favor of all the different variations of DLC out there, but you must understand it is largely to combat places like Gamestop and re-sale of games. It's also why many game developers are requiring you to input an online pass code to access multiplayer features. They still make money, but their profit margins have been reduced due to the massive trade-in and preowned games market out there now.

 

I pretty much agree about the content of DLC. I rarely ever pay for it unless it is something truly worthwhile like the Vietnam expansion for Bad Company 2, or Ballad of Gay Tony for IV. Something that actually adds major content to my games will get my attention. Bullsh*t costumes do nothing for me unless they're free.
