I don't like the idea of handicap. It should be 'crippled', as people with 'handicaps' aren't really. Those FAT people are handicaped, and if allowed to breed will make more people Crippled by being FAT.Now, a crippled person needs help, but many of the handicaped are just legally lazy.

 

Heart Condition, High Blood Pressure, Nerves, etc. are all handicaps that are not visible to anyone except the lawyers and medics.

Here in Philadelphia they are just fat and lazy. For the truly crippled folk we have paratransit.

 

@unfriendly service people. It's not uncommon for me to call or email and establishment and report one of their employees for 'unfriendliness'. I was professionally trained to kiss ass in a retail service environment, so I have some serious expectations.

Its pretty common for staff to not say anything, but i find it rude too. What annoys me more is before they serve you can sometimes see they are being nice and polite to the person in front who they are serving...but when they get to you its totally different.

Oh oh oh oh....you know what is pissing me off right now? The short life span of writable CDs/DVDs. I've been archiving to them for years(that is why I included CDs in my rant), and I have about a 4% chance of being able to read anything over 5yrs old.

 

I've been sitting here for way too long cleaning and re-cleaning a couple of disks that have some old sh*t I need to retrieve. No luck and I am starting to get pissy about it. I hate having to accept that the sh*t is lost forever.

Well, devils advocate here. I recently got a job in my local Chinese being at the front end, taking orders over the phone/walk ins, giving change and putting cards in the machine and sometimes calling out orders. Anyway, you can be nice as pie to everyone who wants you to take their money and I'm always polite and smiling and even over the phone have some manners. Point is, you can do all of this and please about 90% of the customers then you just have those kind of people who give you nothing but sh*t.

 

Take for instance some man rang up wanting to order. Before I even ask him if he'd like it delivered or collection he starts shouting out his order (not even a hi or anything) I'm nice and just say I'll take his order in a second I just need to know if hes collection or delivery since going the other way around on the system is a real pain in the ass (especially since I'm getting to grips with it still) anyway once that is out of the way in the most stern voice I've ever heard he says ''Well do you want my order now or not?''

 

Another type of person is a walk in, I'll greet them and sh*t and they'll start with what they want first. I'll put it into the system and I'll say ''Is there anything else?'' you know sh*t along those lines after they've ordered maybe 2/3 items. Anyway, the second I've said this you'll get people saying ''Obviously I want more'' or just give you one of those looks like ''Are you stupid, of course I want more'' Like I'm some kind of f*cking mind reader.

 

I'm 100% agreed on great customer service because at the end of the day, people will keep coming back. You'll just always get those other set of bastards who no matter if you bought the goddamn moon to their feet they'd still be sh*tty towards you.

I was an asshole at 16, not at work though, because when you are being paid to be nice, you do well to f*cking do it.

I am f*cking sick to death of Captcha, it is f*cking bullsh*t! It makes sense, but how f*cking ahrd do they have to make it? I can't read the stupid sh*t 90% of the time and it f*cks my login if i forget my username for some place because i have 2000 places to login and each f*cking login has a different specification for logging in (No hypens or underscores, numbers must be included ect ect)

I hate a certain program called "Mastering Chemistry". My professor gives us online homework that we must complete each week(it's 10% of the final grade), and I swear to God, that f*cking thing is so picky about how you enter an answer, you might as well be writing a program in C. It is the most unforgiving piece of sh*t I've ever had the displeasure of using, and I hope no one else here has to torture themselves with it. Not to mention each problem has about 10 parts and there's usually 20 or so problems each time....it takes hours and hours to finish. This, combined with the dodgy answer system is enough to make you grind your teeth into powder and cause premature baldness from pulling the hair out of your skull. Beware of it's sister: "Mastering Physics" as well.

On the flipside, if you turn on the tiniest bit of charm and smile a bit, most people appreciate it.

 

It's the customers that maintain an ere of complete assholishness in spite of the roses and rainbows being shone upon them that sh*ts me off. It takes a lot of effort to maintain a facade of cheeriness over a long shift (on a weekend especially) and it's made doubly hard when it's met with a stone face.

 

I'm first to cop something on the chin if I've f*cked up, but when they go on tirades over nonsensical sh*t (or sh*t that is their fault), it blows my mind.

Rude customers. Ever since I got this new job of mine, I've been noticing that foreigners from America or Europe are the nicest people you'll ever deal with whereas people from China or India are the most annoying. They barely give a thank you after their purchases and are always quickly to push the blame on me when things go bad with their ice cream.

 

"This ice-cream isn't frozen. Check your damn fridge." This Indian man said to me once. I would have gladly refunded him back the money if he asked nicely but he came up to me as if I had done it intentionally. And the ice-cream was f*cking frozen as solid.

Anyway, over Thanksgiving I was at my cousins house and my father was scrolling through the guide to see what was on and I saw "Smokey and the Bandit 2" so I said something about it and played the song in my sig because it was on my phone. Then my cousin comes in and hears it and says that only "hardcore rap" is allowed in his house. Apparently his favorites are Little Wayne, Jay-Z, 50 Cent. And then later Nickelback preformed the half time show and he said Nickelback was the only exception to his "only rap" policy.

Most forum regulars don't even consider the GTA V section a normal part of the forum. That is where all the newbies go to rant and rave and froth with excitement over the slightest teased detail. Many of the people there rarely venture into the Lounge sections, which is fine with me. It's the V section now, but every time we get a new GTA announced that section becomes the newbie cesspool and the rest of us veteran members tend to avoid it completely. It's like its own world over there.

My house phone, gets calls throughout the day from pre-recorded messages telling me the latest survey found or Did you know, before I smash the phone down in a rage , whilst I expect the occasional call from someone trying to sell something, like a guy with an Indian accent called Dave, that I don't mind, I actually enjoy winding the bastards up, its these automated bullsh*t messages I hate getting.

 

Also what the f*ck is up with some women drivers, if you can't drive a 4x4 don't f*cking buy one, you dick. seriously how do these women pass their driving test if they can't reverse, I live in a place were the roads are narrow, and most times I'll reverse, to show them how it's done, even with a trailer on, but at times there is no chance for even myself to safely reverse, like if I get stuck between two f*cking retarded drivers, if the one in front can't back and also the one behind . The trouble is these dumb idiots don't ever think about actually looking over their shoulder or popping their head out of the window to check the position of their car, they try to use the mirrors like they are parking. One time I must of been watching this one woman try and reverse for at least 10 minutes, it would of been quicker if I reversed the half mile back to the nearest layby behind me instead of her going back a few f*cking metres. The worst f*ckers for this are townies on holiday, they tend to think their big ass camper van is all that and don't realise little country roads aren't designed for over sized caravans, never mind their inability to handle such vehicles.

I was thinking this last night, but put it down to just most of the older members leaving the forums. In a way though, it did seem more of a 'community' in a way I can't explain.

 

Anyway, my rant:

 

Bank Charges - Can some one here please explain to me why the f*ck banks have the right to take £40 off of you, for simply not having the money in your account at midnight for a DD payment. The thing is, the DD doesn't get paid, so to set yourself back straight, you have to first hae the £40 to get your bank balance back to 0, than an extra stash of money to pay the original DD. Genuine question, why the f*ck do they charge you?

Just seems to totally defeat the object. "Haha, you had no money in your account to pay [name], so we're just going to take £40 off of you for the fun of it." I'd agree with them if they actually paid the charge for you, then charged you for some type of Borrowing thing...exactly the name given to what they class the charge as, "Unplanned Borrowing..."...how the f*ck are you borrowing anything when they haven't paid it for you?

 

What made this situation worse is, the other day I had bought a meal online, and the next day, when checking the bank balance, it had 'taken' the payment from my account, as in telling me that my balance was £190, but only available to take out £170...a few days later, this money has re-appeared in my account, and without knowing this, took the money out. They then take the money out of my account again, thus leading to me having no money in the account to pay my DD.

I'm not trying to hate on the mods, they can't help what's posted. The best they can do is lock or delete said bullsh*t threads. Sometimes I wonder if threads should be screened before they can be posted. More work for mods but a cleaner section, but that's neither here nor there. Its sad the V section was hit so hard, I knew it would happen but a few of the people I'd gotten to know seem to have vanished after said events. Not goin to be down about it, I'm off to find other fulfilling sections of GTAF, adventures!

My gripe today is dudes that don't follow the ladies first rule. Look! When you are entering a building, bus, subway, elevator, whatever - if there is a lady behind you, you are suppose to hold the door and let them enter. In the cases of subways and that kind of entrance - you are suppose to step to the side and let them enter first.
