I used to dip tobacco and my father got sick of me spitting into a cup in the house.  He was a cigarette smoker.  One day he just snapped and said "why don't you just smoke"?!  I was 15(secretly smoking when not dipping)... I was like yeah my dad said I could smoke.

 

I smoked heavy for a good 30 some years.  Nicotine is a difficult drug.  I'm not one of those "former smokers" that gets involved in other folks stuff.  My wife still smoke and all.   I'm just remarking on how strong a hold nicotine can have.

 

My current grumpiness:  too f*cking cold outside.  I'm not ready for the cold, gray winter.

Sometimes I really hate ordering through DoorDash as it seems like every third or fourth order the app glitches and takes forever for the order to be accepted

 

Or it takes ages to find a driver, one time it took almost 30 minutes to find one

 

Or they keep reassigning drivers, Last month I went through four different drivers all with the app telling me they’re on their way to the restaurant only to go in a whole different direction then drop off and a new driver appears (no they weren’t canceling DoorDash reached out to inform a glitch kept assigning drivers and gave me a $5 credit after I complained of the hour and half wait time.

 

Edit: Ooh lookey here, Drivercfinally on their way 38 minutes after they were supposed to have arrived.

 

Edit 2: The young girl was very apologetic almost on the verge of tears as it was her first ever delivery and was having trouble with the app and was so afraid I’d yell at her.

 

but  worth the wait, I’m like extremely ADDICTED to Chipotle Chips & Queso, I order a large to hog all to myself.

 

I wish they’d start selling their Queso in stores

I am about to rant about my socialist government's new bill on tobacco and e-liquids.

 

These illogical ass wipes want to ban sweet and fruity flavors in e-liquids, because they are appealing to children, while also insuring that web shops selling such products, will have more strict age verification prior to check-out. It's f*cking stupid, because the age verification can be implemented easily using our common secure login linked to our social security number, meaning that kids wanting to buy vape products will be denied of sale unless they miraculously know their mom's secure login and can verify the key digits or access their key app.

 

Banning sweet flavors for adults that use it to refrain from smoking tobacco, to insure kids won't get addicted to nicotine, while the secondary official solution with more strict age verification is more than enough, shows how f*cking incompetent and irrational leading politicians can be. They only choose simple solutions which simply cause more problems with greater consequences in the long run.

 

No one wants to stick to tobacco-flavored e-liquid because it tastes horrible, so they might as well smoke again, but since the common price of cigarettes will be raised as well, smoking cigarettes smuggled from Germany and Poland will become the new fashion.

 

I know this is only one out of many different outcomes, but with this new bill, my government will only have more people smoking tobacco again, while they won't earn a penny on tobacco taxes, since many of the cigarettes will be imported. Neither national health or the national economy will benefit of it, and my country-gone-to-the-sh*tter isn't the only one going full retard on this.

So one of my good friends has suddenly gone off the radar in terms of activity which I think is out of character for him as he's usually always in touch with us and letting us know what's doing. 

 

Myself and another friend have tried to contact him but he hasn't responded to any of our messages. We're thinking something terrible has happened to him because let's just say he's living conditions aren't the best but I'm not going to go into detail what they are out of respect for him and our friendship and as I mentioned above, it's not like him to stop talking to any of us out of the blue.

 

All we can do at this point is give him the space he needs as much as it probably worries us that something has happened to him;. 

 

Best case we'd like to think he's spending time with the family and wants some downtime to himself as well but until he get's in touch with any of us we have nothing to go on and we're left to worry the worst.

Why do employers online act so smug to job seekers? Trying to get a basic job online just to earn some money on the side along with my studies, but have had a harrowing experience so far. They start off warily polite, but the minute they realize you're looking for a job they act so arrogant it makes me sick. Like, the job they're offering is not so good in the first place ,and I believe they don't have much demand too, that you'd think they would be pleased that anyone is taking it at all. But they choose to instead be so rude, it's quite saddening to me. As it is I'm quite intimidated and probably a bit too formal in these situations, it seems almost like they can sense that and act high and mighty, really sucks man. 

 

I should probably try on some reputed online portal for this purpose, but I don't have much of a skillset right now so I got intimidated to even try on those. People who act like enormous assholes to job seekers just to feed their own ego can choke on a big fat cactus.

f*cking 5G. I am getting real tired of these misinformed conspiracy nuts that believe 5G network will be the end of civilization because it'll give us all cancer and cook our brains. It's f*cking bullsh*t you morons. Yes, I am about to get as scientific as I can about this sh*t. 5G is a wireless cellular network, situated somewhere central-left (depending on spectrum chart) of the electromagnetic spectrum, making it microwave radiation. Ooooh big yikes, microwaves boutta cook my missing brain!  No. Although having a higher electromagnetic frequency than 4G, microwave radiation being harmful comes down to two physical factors: energy output and environment, and not frequency in this case.

 

Microwave ovens can be set to different levels of wattage, but if you set it to, let's say, 1600 watts and isolate that radiation inside of small container, you can easily - in minutes, warm up a frozen pizza or cook a human brain, because the radiation is powerful and confined enough to make the polar molecules in the material vibrate hence creating dielectric heat.

In contrary to that, your modern cellphone emits under 1 watt of microwave radiation and said radiation has the open environment which it can spread to, compared to a tiny-spaced microwave oven packed with energy. Tell me, how can such a low energy output found in your cellphone in such spacious surroundings like your bedroom or backyard be even near to harmful? 

 

Talking of cancer, electromagnetic radiation will have to be either ultraviolet or ionizing before it can cause cancers in you. Ultraviolet radiation penetrates your skin and can make two nucleobases that are otherwise located side-by-side in a string of DNA make a covalent bond, meaning the DNA can (if not repaired) be misinterpreted upon cell division, hence making mutations, by that causing skin cancer. Ionizing radiation penetrates any part of your body and ionize atoms inside your body. If an atom is ionized, it will either lose or gain an electron, then making the atom (or now ion) differently charged, by that breaking the otherwise stable covalent bonds in the molecules making up your DNA. And as before - damaged/unrepaired DNA causes cancer in the end. Low-frequency microwaves doesn't cause cancer, f*cking gamma rays do.

 

In conclusion of this bitching and moaning, the only true harm 5G does, is to make people get to their fake news and anime faster than ever before.
