It looks like I'm forced to buy myself a new phone this weekend, I really don't want to though,my phone seems to have a way of fixing itself but it looks like now it's officially died on me.

Rain itself is kind of annoying but it gives you a reason to put on them cool trench coats and what have you. Also allows you to style your hair on the fly with ease since it'll be pretty damp.

OT - I elbowed my bedside table earlier, right in the soft bit between the bone (and as usual, I collapsed like a little bitch, groaning etc). I hit it so hard the table lifted and I'm feeling it now and I just know that I will wake up tomorrow and have a manky elbow for God knows how long.

I'm grumpy this morning because my girlfriend came home wasted at 8am this morning, then went straight to sleep on the living room couch. She made no attempt to contact me all night and her phone was switched off when I woke up at 5 and tried to contact her to ask if she was even coming home.

 

Does that make me a dick or is she REALLY f*cking inconsiderate?

My first serious boyfriend was pretty inconsiderate. Long story short, he went to a Halloween party that his friend also invited me too, but I waited until my boyfriend invited me himself (he didn't) and at about 3am he messaged me saying everyone had got kicked out and his friends had gone home and he was going to have to crash on a bench.

I walked 10miles (with my Mom because she worried about me walking that distance at night) to meet him and bring him back to my house.

 

 

Seriously, I seem to have an issue. I'm hoping that now I know how I used to act, I won't do the same in the future.

Ugh no wonder those apples taste horrible, its too sweet, yucky. Also couldn't find Montezuma's Absolute Black chocolate in Sainsbury, they removed the label so I guess they couldn't find anyone who would eat something as bitter as that, yummy.

Man, i love my mom, i really do, but i always have to repeat myself with her and that f*cking pisses me off.

Not only she asks me the same question hundreds of times but i been asking her for decades to stop hoarding useless sh*t and throw away stuff, the more "recent" is me practically begging to cut off sugaries because of her diabetes and the conversation always ends the same.

 

She's basically a brickwall.

wow ceszayers you and your mom are golden for doing that. In hindsight it would've made more sense to make him walk 10mi to you or to let him sleep on a bench for not inviting you to begin with. but when we look back at some of the choices we made in our relationships, we only realize the dumb stuff and think more rationally on the things we did after things had gone sour and not in the moment when we did love and care this person. also, congratulations on walking a half-marathon!

She's basically a brickwall.

I'm in the same boat with my mom as well. she suffers from fibromyalgia which is basically chronic join and nerve pain. I basically went to school and studied so that I could fix her since there is no cure.... oh but there is... lifestyle medicine. she blames the fibromyalgia for not being able to do anything, her depression, weight, eating habits, etc. It can and I've seen it cured by a better diet and exercise and medical journals have studied that. Her doctors just put her on pain killers and that just makes her stay in bed all day and be sedentary. The stuff she's on is also very addictive. She's of course in denial and refuses my help because she only believes in surgeries or pills and does not want to put 1oz of effort in. Unfortunately at this point in time, nothing will make her want to change and appreciate life until she has a stroke or heart attack and survives it and perhaps the same could be said about your mom as well

^My mom keeps complaining about muscle aches, varicose veins and other various health problems, she even says her blood pressure and glucose levels are high. I kept telling her that she needs to at least lose weight and start lifting weights but she doesn't want to take that first step. No one shouldn't be able to walk 200m without wanting to give up at only 54 years.

I probably made it sound more heroic than it was.

It was 10 miles from my house to my college, so we basically walked the route I took to get to my college (which was where he was), it was just my everyday trip only at nighttime and without sufficient street lighting.

 

E - I just googled it. It was 7.2 miles. Not 10.

Just read an argument on YouTube about getting jumped/having to deal with sh*t from 'youths' in the UK. Half were saying sh*t like that only happens in East London, the other half were (correctly) saying it's a common occurrence in the rough areas of all cities.

 

It's just weird to see people straight up deny that getting hassle from teens is just the norm for some people. If you have never dealt with that, good for you but some people do have to deal with it on a regular basis.

If you've never had to deal with that specific situation, keep your mouth shut. Very simple.

Turns out the missus actually completely lost her phone, which had also died at 50% battery life, so it was me being a dick because she couldn't actually get in touch with me.
